Gabriel Agreste woke up Adrian the next morning for a talk.

"I may have over reacted" he admitted.

"Really" Adrian was so happy, he wouldn't have to break up with Luka.

"Yes, so you're um" Gabriel

"I like boys" Adrian answered for him "but I think I might like girls too"

"Oh, okay" Adrian thought he saw his dad relax at the news he likes girls.

"Yeah, so I had plans with friends I told Natalie, um if I'm going to make it I have to leave soon" Adrian tried to get out of the conversation.

"Yeah yeah, you can go" Gabriel agreed "but I still don't want you to go out with, uh, luka you said he was"

Just then they heard the door bell ring.

"That's probably Luka" Adrian said.

"Okay have fun" you could tell Gabriel's smile wasn't real.

Adrian walked out the door and sighed 

"What's wrong"

"Nothing, it's just my dad you know"

"Yeah you told me"

"I have to tell you something We have to break up" Adrian said in a fake serious voice.

"It's okay I can just date chat noir" luka responded

Adrian put his hand up to his forehead dramatically "moving in so quickly I see"

They started walking away. Adrian got a text so he checked it. It was from his dad

Did you tell him.

Adrian responded quickly.

Yeah he took it surprisingly well

Okay.

"What was that" Luka asked

"My dad" Adrian responded. "He wanted to know how the break up went"

"I think it went fantastic considering the circumstances" Luka laughed.

Adrian laughed quietly "yeah do you think it's wrong to lie to him"

"Well" Luka started to fidget "if you're doing it for your safety I don't think it's that wrong but if it's making you uncomfortable then we" he trailed off.

"I don't know" Adrian said "this, all this that's happening it's making me realize just how bad my dad can be"

"Oh?"

"Yeah, he hasn't been the best but I thought it was just because of my mom I guess I was wrong"
