Chat and viperion watched the sun set together.
"Shit, I have to get home I don't want to be in more trouble" Adrian got up "sorry" chat kissed Luka on the forehead "bye"
"No it's fine you don't have to apologize for anything" viperion trailed off as chat noir got further and further away.
Viperion decided to follow chat even though he knew he or shouldn't. Jr just knew something was wrong and Adrian wasn't going to say anything. He felt like he needed to help.
Viperion crouched on a building next to the Agrest estate. He watched as Adrian detransformed. Gabriel entered the room looking quite angry. Luka saw them talking then Mr. Agrest struck Adrian. Luka wanted to get up, to help, but he knew that would probably make things worse.
Adrian rubbed the back of his head.
Gabriel leaned down so he was face to face with Adrian "you know I'm doing this for your own good" he said.
"Yes father" Adrian's head fell down.
Gabriel grabbed Adrian's face "look someone in the eye when they are talking to you"
"Yes father" Adrian's words sounded smoosh. He could feel his teeth digging into the insides of his cheeks. Tears started to form but he wouldn't let them fall. He started to feel the pressure on his face lift, but the weight landed on his shoulder.
"Adrian you know I love you right"
"Yes father" Adrian managed to smile. That was good enough for Gabriel. He left soon after leaving Adrian by himself.
Adrian rolled his shoulder. It was a bit red already and kinda sore.
Viperion saw his chance and took it. He carefully hopped over to Adrian's window. He carefully opened it. It didn't squeak, thankfully.
"Adrian" he whispered.
Adrian gasped quietly. "You scared the shit out of me"
"Sorry, I wanted to talk to you"
"Could you have done it sometime else." Adrian said anxiously.
"I guess it could have but what I wanted to tell you is to pack your things we're leaving" Luka said.
"What no leaving, leaving where. Where are we going" Adrian questioned
"To my house I'm getting you out of here"
"No" Adrian says just a bit too loudly "I mean I can't"
"Please, I'm begging you not to stay here"
"No, not right now. It's not the right time, now please leave before I get in more trouble" Adrian plants a small kiss on Lukas cheek.
"Okay, bye" Luka waves bye and is gone as fast as possible. Adrian breathes a sigh of relief when he's out of sight. he wished he could go but he can't.
