THAT SAME NIGHT

"Where are we?" Alexius questioned, looking out the window as I stopped in front of a tall black gate that a lit up house stood tall behind.

"Our house," I said putting my truck in park and quickly getting out to put the gate code in before she could question me about anything.

I put the four digit gate code in before I leaned against the door of my Durango and watched the gate open for us.

I'm way too excited to be spending this night with my woman. I've already got a lot of shit planned, and it's not even related to sex whatsoever. --Though we gone be doing a lot of that anyways.

"Kiang what are you talking about?" She immediately asked when I got back into the car. I locked the doors and without my seatbelt put my vehicle in drive, and I drove right past the gate that instantly shut behind us.

"I'm talking 'bout this," A short chuckle left my lips as I parked in front of the house and turned my truck off.

She still was trying to talk even when I got out the car already, but I know that I'm going to eventually have to answer her questions, so I just made my way over to her door and opened it before helping her down from the height onto the ground.

"Is this ours for real?" Her eyes lit up at the view of the house. For some reason my heart hurt knowing that she was a bit happy about it and it's not ours for real.

"For tonight, yeah," I trail off making my way to the truck where I opened it to get our belongings that I packed without her knowing.

"Oh, because if you were to do something like that you'd let me know," She said and I nodded, walking around the car with the two suitcases.

"You'll be the first," I said, leaning down a bit and softly kissing her lips.

ONE HOUR LATER

"Papi stop," Alexius frowned, watching a laughing Nathaniel who held two solitary cards in his hand.

"I got to mami," He said before smacking the matching card on the stack, claiming his spot as the winner.

"Goldfish," He yelled jumping up and down. Alexius didn't find it to be exciting because she's lost the game two times and this would be her third time. She feels like Nathaniel was cheating even though he wasn't. He just had that much luck.

"Come on, don't be salty when the cookies are sweet," Nathaniel joked, relating his reference to her attitude and the Halloween decorated sugar cookies in the oven.

As much as Alexius wanted to continue to pout and whine, she couldn't help but laugh at his lame joke. It was just that funny.

"You sound so stupid," She tried to hit him but instead, he caught her hand and quickly spun her around before pulling her close. Alex pouted watching him softly press his warm lips to the palm of her hand.

"Shouldn't you be changing into your costume now, Batman," Alexius smirked, pulling away from him.

"Shoun you be taking that off, cat woman?" He returned a question referring to his blazer that was still on her.
