Chapter 35: They Are Alive!

After the university, they all met in Jaeun's resort. They were waiting for the call from Soonae's uncle and they were impatient af. Soomi came in from his school.

Soomi: I am here I am here. *She sat on a couch*
Soonae: How was your day?
Soomi: Okay okay. That Suze is getting on my nerves these days. *Her phone rang and Soomi picked it up* Hello uncle... Yes, so did you find it?... Ah yes, that's right!... WHAT!... WHAT THE HELL!!! *She was looking at the wall in complete shock with her eyes wide open* Yes I got it... That would be great uncle... Thank you so much... You have no idea what you did for us... Thank you again... Bye say hello to aunty... Yes bye-bye. *She cut the call*
Soonae: B-baby what happened?
Soomi: They found them! *Mark was looking down and crying*
Rose: Wh-where?
Soomi: My uncle has agents in all hospitals who work there and give secret reports to uncle. They found Mark oppa's parents. And the fact that both of them are alive but in a coma.
Soonae: O My God for 13years *She was crying at that point*

All of them were shocked and crying. Jihoon was standing leaning against the door and thinking about what to do and how to get his parents out of there.
Jihoon: We need to go see them now. Otherwise, it might be late *he spoke without looking at them*
Soonae: Soomi calls uncle, and gives me the call. *Soomi nodded and connected the call*
Soyong: Let me call the YYY hospital and tell them to keep two emergency beds ready. *They nodded*
Mark: Let me tell uncle and aunt *He was about to call but Rose held his hand*
Rose: Let's not tell them. My heart says it won't be a good idea to tell them. *Mark didn't say anything just kept the phone back in his pocket*
Jaeun: Hyung let me inform our parents. *Jihoon nodded*

Now Soomi Dialed the number and Uncle picked up the call.
Uncle: Hello Soomi-ah.
Soomi: Uncle unnie wants to talk to you.
Uncle: Nae give her. *Soonae took the call*
Soonae: Hello uncle. As you know Mr. and Mrs. Lee is my husband's friend's parents. We want to see them can we do that? Can we get a little detail about them?

Jihoon: Okay let's get going now. Jake, inform uncle and aunt of the address of the hospital.
Jaeun: I already sent the hospital's address to our parents.

They were all walking inside the hospital and people looking at them. Of course, the media was there since it's not daily that you see so many top businessmen in one place at a time outside a high-class event. In short, because of the media, it was all a mess. As the others walked in, Jihoon and Soomi stood in front of the media to talk to them and make them leave.

They went inside the hospital and went to the reception.
Mark: Hello. Can I know which room Mr. Lee and Mrs. Lee of L. IT are in?
Receptionist: They have been here for ages now. First time in 13years someone came to visit them. Can I know who you are?
Mark: I am Lee Minhyun their son. When I was 12 I was informed that my parents passed away only recently did I get to know they are alive?
Receptionist: Can you provide me with any proof that you are their son?
Mark: Yes please wait a minute. *He showed his ID and birth certificate and a picture of him with his parents*
Receptionist: Okay sir that much proof is enough. They are in rooms number 675 and 677 opposite rooms on the 5th floor.
Rose: Thank you. *They went towards the elevator*

After getting to the 5th floor, they looked for a minute on the floor and finally found the floor. As they were going there, someone got out of a room and while that person was leaving, Jaeun collided with that person who was in an apron. He looked like a hospital staff. Jaeun jerked off this thought and went inside. Mark stopped outside and Rose held his hands and pulled him inside. When he saw his parents in a coma he broke down in tears. He remembered all these years how he missed them and how he suffered.
Jaeun: Appa sorry I could not think better and could not find you *Crying hard* I could not be a good son appa sorry *He knelt on the floor while Rose stopped down to his level*
Rose: Mark baby please don't blame yourself. You were always told that Eomma Appa was not there anymore how would you even imagine at that young age that you were being tricked baby!
Mr. Park: Where is the doctor? Who was taking care of them all these years?
Mr. Kim: Let me find out. Jaeun-ah comes with me. *He nodded and went*

After some time they came with the doctors even the head doctor.
Mark: Doctor I need specifications of everything that happened here all these years.
Doctor: Mr. Lee I have been here for the last 7 years. When I joined here I was said that these patients are alive and we are taking care of them and their fees are being paid.
Jake: Doctor there must be someone who is paying the money right? Who's that?
Doctor: It's weird Mr. Hwang. We have no idea who is paying the money all we know is it's an account from Australia that is paying the money.
Soomi: Oh my God! It means--
Soonae: Exactly!
Mark: Doctor now I want to take my parents with me and take better care of them. Can I do that?
Doctor: Since it has been many years of them being here, you can sure take them with you. All these years many times we felt like they would come out of the comma but they never did even after showing signs of coming out of the comma.
Mark: Thank you so much, doctor. I would now do the discharge formalities.
Doctor: Sure. This way *He led Mark to the reception*

**Time skip**
All of them now got back home. Mark's parents were kept in the ICU and Mr. and Mrs. Park insisted on staying there while they wanted the kids to get changed since they never went home after they left home early in the morning before going to the university.
Soonae: Bongji ask the chef to prepare something real quick okay. We are going to freshen up eat and rest for some time and then go out again.
Jihoon: Bro now that we found them don't worry okay. Since they were alive all these years don't lose hope. *Mark just nodded*

As they freshened up and we were just done eating, Mark received a call. It was Mr. Park from the hospital.
Mark: Hello Appa. Everything is okay?
Mr. Park: Mark there is something important and the doctor wants to see you. By when are you all coming? Oh, Rose is here already.
Mark: Appa we are coming in some time. *He cut the call*
Jihoon: What happened?
Mark: I don't know appa said the doctor wants to see me.
Jihoon: Let's go then.

What happened to Mark's parents and who was paying for them and why? Why did they not get out of the comma even though they showed signs of getting out of the comma?
