Chapter 16

Vanessa
Ninth month pregnant and although she didn't say it, I knew Mads was amused by my even more crass mood swings and truly absurd food combination.
We were just having breakfast and I ate toast with jam and a fried egg. I notice Mads watching me and when I looked at her she smiled. Mads had her red hair tied loosely at the nape of her neck and was wearing one of my purple tops.
"What?" I asked and had trouble not choking on my food. "I'll be happy when the little one is out of you, because your eating habits make me lose my appetite." she said teasingly, pointing to the porridge on My Bread. I stuck my tongue out at her, casually fishing some of my food onto my fork. Just before I shoved it in my mouth, I changed my mind. I used the fork as a catapult and threw the goo right in Mads' face. Shocked, my girlfriend jumped up and stared at me while the jelly egg ran down her face. I burst out laughing and clutched my stomach.
"Wait!" she yelled and ran towards me. I jumped up quickly and wanted to run away but I still had to laugh. So I didn't move. Mads grabbed my shoulders and pushed me against the kitchen wall. "You're really disgusting!" She laughed, grabbed the bottom of my WHITE t-shirt and wiped her face. "BAH MADS! THIS IS NEVER GOING OUT AGAIN!" I squeaked.

Madelaine
As I wiped my face, Nessa squeaked. When I had cleaned my face of the slime and I looked at Vanessa again, a sopping wet rag landed in the middle of my face.
How did she manage to get hold of a cracked rag so quickly?
Gasping, I jumped backwards and hit my back against the closet. Vanessa and I grinned at each other and I reached behind me. I grabbed the bowl of mashed banana, grabbed a handful and shit the pulp at Vanessa.
BULL HIT! I hit her right on the t-shirt and got a squirt of ketchup in the middle of my stomach.
I grabbed more mashed bananas and threw it at my favorite people, hitting them at chest height. I have to say that Vanessa clearly had the better shots, so I reached out again and grabbed a tomato, but hid it on my back afterwards. When Vanessa aimed the ketchup bottle at me again, I took two steps forward and threw the tomato. It hissed through the air and hit Vanessa in the chest. I had to laugh out loud at the baffled expression on my girlfriend's face. "Wait!" screamed my girlfriend running towards me and as our bodies collided I lost contact with the ground as did Vanessa. I wrapped my arms protectively around my girl and twisted in the air so that Vanessa was on my stomach (and within seconds.) My back hurt like hell on impact but at least Nessa and our son weren't endangered and the pain was lessened by Vanessa's presence.
We looked at each other for a long time and then started laughing.
"Are you alright Mads?" the beautiful woman asked me. My hands point to her back and stroke up and down there.
"You're crazy Nessa!" I laughed and stopped stroking. Instead, I started hugging Vanessa and pressed her tightly to me.

Vanessa
"Yep, I'm crazy, but that's exactly what you love about me." I replied to my girlfriend. Madelaine released one of her hands from my back and stroked my cheek lightly. I only saw love in her eyes. "Yeah there you're absolutely right little one . But remember , I love everything about you ." I looked at her mockingly, "My eating habits too?" Mads rolled her eyes, "Even the . It's good that you eat."
I knew what she was up to. Mads used to have huge food issues and I knew she still struggled to eat properly these days.
I closed the distance between our faces. Madelaine and I kept eye contact the whole time and I could feel Madelaine's breath on my cheek. "Come on Nessa..." Madelaine tapped my shoulder lightly "We've got to clean up this mess." I briefly broke eye contact and looked at the kitchen. As expected, there was a HUGE mess in this room (which was also to be expected from the battle).
"That can wait babe." I said, closing the gap between our lips. Mads placed her hands on my neck and pressed me even tighter against her lips. Madelaine was energized and that made me grin into the kiss. Careful I turned us so that I was lying on the bottom and pushed us into a sitting position, of course without breaking our lips. Mads slipped off my lap and together we stood up. Our lips didn't break apart. "What are you going to do?" Madelaine asked me in the kiss. "Just trust me sweetheart." I mumbled. Madelaine nodded and I carefully lifted her up and transported her through the apartment. It wasn't that easy when she was pregnant, but Madelaine was light as a feather and nothing could happen to the baby.

Madelaine
I had my eyes closed but I knew Vanessa was carrying me to our bedroom. Her hands under my butt gave me security and my arms, which I had wrapped around her neck, only confirmed me in the matter even more. I carefully reached my hand backwards and opened the bedroom door. Arriving in the room, Nessa carefully laid me down on the bed and briefly parted her lips from mine. She stroked my cheek lovingly and I put her hand on the lower edge of my shirt. Vanessa looked into my eyes and I nodded.
,,Yes."
Lightning and shocks shot through me. A flight of fancy was nothing against this feeling that Vanessa gave me.

My cheek was tickling and when I opened my eyes I saw Vanessa smiling at me. "Tell me Morgan..." I yawned, slid upstairs and pulled the covers over my chest,,...do you always watch me sleep?" Vanessa did the same for me, Yep. But you're beautiful when you sleep. You are so calm, do you know what I mean?" I nodded and kissed her cheek. "I can only give that back."
Vanessa snuggled into my shoulder and stroked my collarbone. I leaned against the movement and enjoyed the tingle on my skin. Before the brunette took her hand away, I cupped it and kissed her fingers. "I love you Vanessa Morgan and have been since second one." Vanessa smiled at me "I love you too and I think it was love at first sight."
"Yep." I bit her lower lip and Vanessa kissed my fingertip. "We should get up," she whispered, throwing the covers aside. I watched her change into sweatpants and a shirt and then collapse screaming.
I don't know when was the last time I jumped up so quickly but as I was off her side she stared at me. ,,Infant! What's going on?" I asked in a panic. "The baby... The baby is coming."
