Life goes on while your miles away, and I need you.
Time rolls on as night steals the day, and there's nothing I can do.
Love goes on while your miles away, and I miss you.

Maybe I should've gotten up the nerve to tell him I loved him before he left, I don't know. In the long run it might have changed me and how I thought, at least then he would've known how I felt about him.

He called about four or five times a year, for the next couple of years, to tell me how everything was going.
It was just enough to keep my heart yearning for him a little longer; but his last few calls were the end for me, he spent the entire time talking about his new girlfriend Juliet. After each call, I'd cry for an hour; so with that news, I stopped answering the phone and he stopped calling.

It doesn't mean I stopped loving him though, it just weakened it a little, enough for me to keep going.
Occasionally I'd think about him, when a forgotten trinket turned up or when someone mentioned his name at school.

ANDY'S POV:

I guess Casey was my only best friend who was a girl, and I could talk to her about anything.
I can't believe I almost forgot to say goodbye to her, she was the one person I was most sad about leaving.

That day she seemed happy for me, but she had a look about her that I still can't explain; it was an unsettling feeling that I remembered for a long while after that.

It was a year or so later when I began to think about her a lot; I was riding home with Ashley when her favorite song came on the radio. As it played, I reminisced in memories of her and of how much fun we had together.

I had a compelling urge to see her and for the next month I couldn't get her off my mind. I talked to Ash about her and asked what he'd do if he were me.

"Why don't you ask her to come out here, the worst she could do is say no.", was his response.

On the day I finally made up my mind to call her, everything changed... I met Juliet.
