The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yea.
They're swept away and nothing is what it seems,
the feeling of belonging to your dreams.

************************************************The next night we went to their band practice and I was so excited. Everyone was there except for Andy, so I whiled away my time talking to Ashley, since he made a bee-line to me when I came in.
I probably could've fell for his flirtatious pick-up lines, if my heart wasn't already branded for someone else.As we talked, I saw Andy enter with a pretty girl and my smile instantly fell away; I quickly replaced it as he brought her over to me.
"Baby, I want you to meet one of my best friends from home. Juliet, this is Casey."
I extended my hand, "So this is your Juliet, I've heard so much about you."
"Hi Casey, it's nice to meet you.", she greeted while nuzzling in under his arm.
While the band played, the realization that 'if Andy and Juliet have been together this long, they were probably going to stay together' hit me like a ton of bricks.
I avoided looking at him as much as possible, for fear my emotions would betray me also. The few times I did brave a look, he was staring at me and I couldn't bare it.As soon as they finished, I went outside to smoke; I leaned against C.C.'s car, looking up at the stars and wondering why... why have I spent so many years in love with a dream?
Before I could come up with and answer, Ashley walked out to say goodnight and do a little obvious flirting. Just a few steps behind was C.C. and Liv, we said our goodbyes and left; once home, I locked myself in my room and let the tears fall.ANDY'S POV:
They were driving off just as I stepped out, "Damn!", I grumbled.
Ashley came up out of nowhere, "So that's Casey. you didn't tell me she looked like that!"
"She didn't the last time I saw her."
"Why didn't you ever ask her to come out here?"
"I don't know, I met Juliet."
"Mmm-hmm", he nodded and returned inside.
After Juliet left, we were still waiting on C.C. to return. All through practice I'd catch myself looking at her, trying to picture the last time I saw her. It's now coming back to me and so is the strange feeling I had about that day.
I was pondering that moment when C.C. came strolling in humming a tune, "Where'd you hear that?".
"It's was on the radio, Casey made me turn it up."
I smiled, thinking how she loved that song.

FanfictionA/N: Here's an intriguing short story for you, while I try to find an ending on the other two Andy ff's I'm working on. I may elaborate on it more later, but right now I think it is perfect as it is. I'm kind of proud of this one. Enjoy...
