The last two days have flown by, and today Mr Brown's grandson is returning home sometime in the next few hours, and he is excited along with Mylo and Callie.

About three hours into my shift, there is a damn sexy man entering the Inn. He is around 6'1", muscular build, tattoos littering his skin from the neck down, brown hair with shaved sides, and the prettiest shade of Red eyes that I have ever seen. He also has a piercing on his right ear lobe, and both of his tragus' are pierced.

"Hello, and welcome to 'The Red Room Inn,'" I tell him as confidently as I can as he stops in front of me at the desk. "How may I help you?"

The man's eyes roams my body, well what he can see of it for a second before he answers; "You must be the new guy granpa hired. I am Axel Brown."

My jaw drops in surprise as he wasn't what I had pictured in my mind as to what he looked like, but he is much better in person. I instantly know that I am going to make a damn fool of myself in front of this man.

Mr Brown saves me from embarrassing myself at the moment by rushing from his office to shout; "Axel, my boy! Welcome home!"

They tightly hug for a moment, and I look away because I am a little jealous. They get to have each other, and I have no one from my family here with me to physically touch. I will be honest by admitting that I am even a little jealous of Callie and Mylo, too, in that they have each other.

"Arrow, this is my granson Axel," Mr Brown says, and my attention is pulled back to the two men from the work I was doing.

"Hello again," I softly greet with a small smile toward Axel who is intently starring at me again.

"Hello," Axel greets with an odd expression. "So, you are Mylo and Callie's friend they have spoken of?"

Slowly nodding in response; "Yes I am, I am Arrow Reid. I have been here just over a year."

"Your last name is Reid?" he questions with a pondering expression, and when I nod he continues. "There are no other Reid's here in town with that surname, so I take it you are here alone?"

Frowning at him, I nod in reply as I wonder why this matters; "Yeah, and why does it matter?"

"It doesn't matter, I just meant that it must suck being here alone," he quietly answers.

"It does suck," I agree with a nod, and a frown. "But there is nothing I can do about that, so I try not to dwell on it."

"You know, in the time you have been here, I can't recall you ever speaking of your family and friends from your life before arriving here," Mr Brown comments to me with a deep frown.

Shrugging my shoulders at him as I focus on my work again; "My parents, brother, and old friends are all Blue, so what is there for me to say?"

"What were they like? What are their names? We're you close with your family?" Mr Brown asks with a frown.

"My parents are Hope and Asher, and my brother is Abel, and he is two years older than me. I got alone fine with my parents, and I was close with my brother before turning Red on my birthday," I tell him. "My old friends were great, but so are Callie and Mylo."

"So, you were the only one from your old life that turned Red?" Axel asks, but it sounds more like a statement than a question.

Nodding at him as I shrug; "Yup. I have no idea if anyone else in my extended family were Red or not."

They look at me with pity which I hate; "Please don't pity me, it is what happens in life."

They both nod in agreement, but I can still see the lingering pity in their eyes. They then head off to Mr Brown's office to catch up, and discuss the outcome of the business Axel had been off doing.

Several hours later at the end of my shift, I am exhausted, so my plan is to nap once I make it to my room. Bidding everyone goodbye, I head toward my room to my have my nap for an hour or two. Entering the room, I let out a huge yawn as I stripe from my work clothes which I leave where these fall on the carpet.

Plugging my phone in at the night table before climbing onto the bed, under the covers. I am sound asleep within seconds of placing my head on the soft pillow.

I am jolted from my dreamless sleep when there are several loud bangs on the closed, locked door. Groaning, I throw the covers off myself, climbing off the bed to stumble my way to the door, that someone is still knocking on.

Unlocking the door, I throw it open with a scowl, and I find Mylo, Callie and Axel are standing in the hallway. Mylo must have been the one banging on the door since he is lowering his arm to his side with a sheepish look at me.

"Why were you sleeping?" Callie asks with a frown as she looks me up and down with a raised eyebrow.

This is when I remember I am just wearing my dark blue colored tight boxers, and my entire body blushes. Callie and Mylo have seen me many times in just my boxers, but Axel has never.

"I was tired," I mumble before leaving the door open as I walk over to the dresser to grab a pair of black joggers to pull on.

Turning back around to face them to ask; "What's up?"

"We were wondering if you wanted to hangout with us?" Mylo asks excitedly while rocking on his feet.

"Sure, what are we doing?" I question as I search through a dresser drawer for a shirt and socks to wear.

"We are going two towns over to watch a movie, and have dinner afterwards," Callie answers with a bright smile as Axel remains quiet.

"Okay," I shrug as I find what I am searching for, and pulling these articles of clothing on as Callie picks up, and throws my work clothes in the laundry basket for me.
