It was starting to get late and I was sitting on the couch, waiting for Gionni to get back while Lay sat beside me watching Encanto again.

She was obsessed with the movie ever since she first saw it and we've been watching it ever since.

I don't really like to watch movies over and over but everytime she hit me with those puppy dog eyes, I just cave every time.

She was mainly watching it while I was on my phone when we both heard the door opened.

Lay got up first and I got up after, watching as she ran to the door excited.

I laughed and heard all the commotion, as well as another voice that sounded familiar but I couldn't put a finger on where I heard it.

"Where Sam at?"

"Sam?" The voice asked just as I turned the corner.

I didn't know who the girl was but she damn sure sounded like she knew me.

"Wassup mama' c'mere." Gionni smiled when he saw me and I smiled back, going over to him.

He pulled me in for a hug and a kiss before I pulled away, hearing lay laughing as she always does when she catches us kissing.

I felt eyes on me and it was the same girl just staring like she had a problem.

"You gonna introduce us or just keep staring at her?" The girl spoke looking at Gionni, slight anger in her tone.

"Ma' this my friend KP and K, this my girl Sam." he introduced us before his phone started ringing and he stepped away.

"Your girl? When we spoke on the phone she said y'all was just friends?" KP raised a brow, looking at me.

"Well like you said, that was when we spoke on the phone.. nice to meet you." I replied and the bitch just nodded.

It was quiet after that and she cleared her throat.

"I'll just go put my things in my room."

"Wait what?" I asked and looked down, noticing the big ass suitcases she had with her.

"Yeah.. your man didn't tell you I was staying the week til the cookout?" She asked, laughing and I was about to say something when gionni came back.

"Geez can you help me put my bags In my room?"

"Um actually that room already bein used."

"By who?" She asked and he looked over at me.

Oh.

"You- She stay here?" She asked and that's when I had enough.

"I'm right here, you don't need to speak to him about me when you can just ask me. You too pretty to be acting like this." I said trying my best not to get upset since lay was in the other room but she was really trying it.
