It was a couple days later and Sam took followed Geez's orders and waited some more before finally going back to work today.
Geez ended up having to sort out some stuff at the safe house containing the next shipments and he ended up having to stay longer than he expected so he got Pooh and Yaz to drive Sam to work.
They ended up coming to pick her up around eleven something, almost noon and could see the excitement radiating off of Sam as soon as she left the house.
"I ain't never seen nobody hype to go to their job before." Yaz spoke to pooh while Sam made her way to the car.
"Shut up, she just excited." Pooh replied looking at Sam.
"Mhm, wait til she gotta start opening the shop at the ass crack of dawn again. We gon see if she still all smiles."
Ever since Sam had been out on leave, it was Yaz and Pooh running the shop and at first it was a lot, having clients as well as managing the books and staying on top of the shop and the workers all while still trying to have a social life- they didn't see how Sam did it, but eventually they got used to it and got help from Johnathan and Xena.
They helped the run the shop as well with Yaz and Pooh, so they all took different weeks opening the shop and this week was Xena's thankfully, letting the three of them come in a little later.
"Hey y'all." Sam greeted, opening the car door and slid into the backseats.
"Hey boo."
"Hey Sammy girl, you look cute. You ready?" She asked her.
Sam nodded and Yaz quickly pulled off, making her way back down to their job.
"So How you feeling today?" She broke the silence again.
"Good, excited." Sam replied.
"I can tell, you ain't stopped smiling yet."
"Yaz shut up... shit, I'd be ready to get out of the house after Geez basically locked her away for all that time too." Pooh chuckled.
"Wait this your first time even being out since?" Yaz asked and sam nodded.
"Typical Geez, he always hiding her away." Pooh chuckled.
"Right, how you get him to even let you come back to work so soon?"
Sam went quiet, immediately thinking about what her and Geez did that day.. and quite a few times since.
"Um.."
"Oh my god!" Yaz gasped, looking at Sam's flushed face in the mirror.
