"Thank you for your application for Allure Studios Myaleah, I'll look it over and make sure I get back to you when I've made my decision." I said to the girl in front of me, taking the file from the last applicant.
"Okay, well thanks for your time." She got up from the chair in front of me.
"Your welcome, you have a nice day." I stood up as well, watching her as she grabbed her bag and keys.
"Bye, have a nice day." Myaleah replied waving as she made her way to the door.
I watched as she walked out of the semi finished shop
and be on her way, before checking the time on my Apple Watch and cursed lowly seeing I was late.Grabbing my things, I left out of the shop and made sure to lock it behind me before going to my car and pulling off shortly after.
I listened to music as I drove, making it to this quaint little water ice spot about 10 minutes later and parked my car, before grabbing my things and getting out.
The nerves in me kicked in soon as my Tory Burch sandals hit the pavement, clacking with each step I took, getting closer to the meet up spot and I readjusted my cross body bag anxiously as I looked around when I soon spotted her just as she saw me coming over.
A big smile graced her face and she got up from the bench she sat on and stood up, heading over to me.
"Hey Sam." She said once close enough, her tone excited.
"Hey Yaz." I replied, my eyes widened when she suddenly pulled me in for a hug.
"I'm sorry! I'm just really excited, I haven't seen you in a while, I'm sorry." She hugged me tightly and I laughed softly while hugging her back.
"You're fine, did you order anything yet?" I nodded at the water ice place behind us and she shook her head.
"No, I was waiting for you." She replied.
"I didn't keep you waiting did I?" I asked.
"Oh.. only 30 minutes- but to be fair I came early because I was overly excited to see you again." Yaz waved it off.
"Well I'm here now, You know what you're getting?" I asked her as we made our way over to the shop, standing in line.
"Girl you know I can't get water ice unless it's Green apple."
"Right, how could I ever forget." I chuckled.
"What about you?" She asked me as the line got shorter and shorter.
