Dear Martha,

I know how much you loved celebrating New Year. Your parents went to our house to have a dinner but everyone is silent. No one seemed to laugh, just timid smiles and nods.

We all miss you Martha.

I can't face the new year without you. I just can't.

I am choking in my own tears with a bottle of whisky on my hand. If it was any other day, you'd glare at me and scold me for even drinking a drop considering we're still 17 but right now, I wish you would come out scolding at me just so I can remove the pain.

You left a gigantic whole in my heart Martha. And I don't know how to fill it. Dad said I have to move on.

How can I move on when I'm still in love with you?

Love, Josh
