We walk through the threshold of the front door of a villa. The music makes the room feel like it's shaking. "Want a drink?" Corey asks over the loud music. "Yeah, something strong," I reply and he walks away, to the kitchen I'd assume. All around me there's people making out and dancing, so I get in the crowd and start to have some fun by dancing the night away.
15 or so minutes pass and Corey walks over to me holding two drinks, with Brendan's arm draped around his shoulder. "Thanks," I say and gulp the drink down. Tequila should be drank in shots in my opinion, but I'm not complaining. I grab Corey's hand and pull him further along the crowd. We dance until we get thirsty again and walk to the kitchen.
"Who wants to play flip cup!!?!" A guy suddenly exclaims, and Corey drags me over there. "This is always fun," he says and so we play, on opposite teams though which makes it more enjoyable. We play 18 rounds, then walk away and sit on the couch already exhausted. I very rarely go to parties. "Don't just sit there, Adele come with us, we're all doing a keg stand," Brendan walks by and invites me. "I don't think that's for you," Corey says and for some reason I get upset about it. "I'm not a child, I can make my own decisions," I state matter-of-factly and follow Brendan.
We're outside now, and I do a keg stand. By the time I decide I'm done, I'm not in control of anything. Everything is spinning around me. "Heyy girl, come join us and begin the party," a random girl says to me and pulls me inside by my hand. Next thing I know, I've been led to the upstairs living room and sit in a circle with about 6 other people. They give me the pot after they've all tried some, and without thinking I do it no questions asked.
Corey is standing in front of me now, unless I'm hallucinating, "come on, we're going home," he says, sounding angry. "What, why? I'm having a blast," I question him as I stand up and attempt to follow him through the hallway without tipping over like a cut down tree. "Coreyyy... Coreeyy stop! Corey, I don't feel good..." I say, my head spinning and stomach turning. He pulls me into a bathroom and almost immediately I start to vomit. Next thing I know, I'm opening my eyes to a barely lit room.
I sit up and notice Corey sitting next to me on the bed. I start to kiss him, but he pushes me away. "You're drunk and high rn, let's talk in the morning," he tells me as I close my eyes. I don't feel an arm around my waist, so I turn over and open my eyes. "What's wrong Corey?" I ask curious of what he is mad at me for. He puts my arm away from himself as I try to hug him. "I thought you still love me?" I ask smugly now. "I do, sorry. Let's just talk tomorrow," Corey replies and gives me a kiss on the cheek before cuddling me.
