Ever since you and Bakugo had that moment in the closet, you don't know what to say to him. Things are just awkward between you two. For you, at least. You can barely even make eye contact with him now or talk to him. When you do, your conversations are brief, with only a few words exchanged, a sentence or two at most.
You just...never experienced anything like that before. It was kind of scary, but also really hot. It's one of those things that you find yourself thinking about whenever there's a dull moment in your mind.
What would've happened if you had more time? You can't help but wonder about it, sometimes even fantasizing, and occasionally touching yourself to the thought.
It's embarrassing how much you've thought of it, especially considering how he probably doesn't even have feelings for you, and you can't even figure out your feelings for him.
But Sero's warned you of how Bakugo is with girls, telling you how he hasn't dated one but has...experiences with quite a few. And considering the way he touched you, you know Sero isn't lying.
So, you suppose the best thing you can do now is get over it. You know you will eventually, but it's only been a few weeks since it happened, and you know it won't happen right away.
Instead, you have more important things to think about, such as the strange things that have been happening lately. More and more of your clothes have gone missing, especially your underwear, and you feel like you're being followed. Every time you're out in public, whether that be alone or with someone, you swear you can see a hooded figure following you out of the corner of your eye. But the time you turn and look, they're gone.
But that's not the worse thing. The worse thing is the cuts you wake up with on your thighs. You don't know how it happens, but when you wake up, there's just more and more of them. Maybe it's because of sleepwalking? You don't normally do that, though.
You would talk to your mom about it, but she's always busy with work, and you never find the right time to. And also, she's already stressed enough, you don't want to add any more stress to her.
You haven't told anyone about it. Haven't said a word. A part of you thinks as long as you don't say anything, it won't be real. It'll all be in your head, right? Everything's going to be okay.
That's what you tell yourself whenever you feel the panic and dread inside you, when you wake up with those new cuts on your legs, dried up blood seeping onto your sheets. You can't remember the number of times you've had to change your sheets over the past couple of weeks.
But you have other things to focus on right now, such as the phone call you're getting from Sero. You click the green button and answer it. "Hello?"
"Heya, girlie. Are you doing anything today?" He greets on the other line. Your anxiety all slips away with his words.
Sero's presence always manages to keep you calm and in a good mood. You don't know why, there's something about him that has you feel so comfortable with him. Probably how laid back and nonjudgmental he is, and how you feel like you can tell him anything.
"Not really. What's up?" You answer simply, fiddling with the strings to your pajama pants
"You wanna go to the mall with me? I don't have much to do, and there are some new shoes I want to get so..." Sero trails off.
That's perfect. Just what you need to get whatever's been happening off of your mind. "Oh, sure! When should I come over?"
"Ah ah ah, you're not going anywhere. I'm gonna pick you up." Sero insists, going back on an argument you and he has been having for the past couple of weeks or so.
You like walking to places, after all. It helps you keep your mind off of things, and you like the fresh air. Also, you don't want Sero having to waste so much money on gas. But he's very stubborn, more stubborn than you, unfortunately.
So, you let him come over and drive you to the mall. You two have a lot of fun, going window shopping, talking, and messing around.
After a while, you stop at a retail store to buy some new underwear. Making your way through the aisle, you peer at the other undergarments, before grabbing a five-pack and tossing them into your basket.
"What? No way. You're not getting a five-pack of underwear." Sero is quick to comment.
"Did you expect me to get a thong from Victoria's Secret or something, ya perv? They're cheap and cute. See, look at this one with little heart designs. And it's not like anyone's going to be seeing them or anything." You shoot back, rolling your eyes.
"You sure? What about Baku-" That remark makes you punch him in the chest almost immediately, making him groan and rub the injured area.
Yeah, a small part of you might want to fuck him. But it's not like you want everyone to know that, and it's not like you actually would. You've never even done anything like that, never even been touched that way before, not until Mina.
The thought of losing your virginity had never been too appealing until your friends began telling you stories of how they lost theirs. Still, you're quite apprehensive about that sort of thing, considering you've barely even been in a serious relationship, and you wouldn't want to do that unless you have a real connection with that person.
"I'm sorry, I deserved that. You okay, (y/n)?" Sero asks, noticing your silence and growing nervous.
"It's fine, I don't care, just shut the fuck up and let me buy my undies." You grin at him, nudging him with your elbow and walking past him to the cash register to go pay.
--
"Are you sure you're okay? You've been kinda off all afternoon." Sero tells you as he sits beside you in the driver's seat of the car.
"Yeah I'm fine...it's just...you're going to think I'm crazy." You say, breaking eye contact with him and looking at your feet. Suddenly, he grabs your shoulders, making you face him. "(Y/n), you can tell me anything. I promise."
Smiling at him, you nod, taking a deep breath. "Okay, so, basically...I feel like someone's following me. I mean, all these crazy things are happening, and I keep on losing my belongings, and stuff in my house is getting moved, and I wake up with these weird-ass scars on my legs, and it's all just scary."
"Okay. Here's what you're going to do. You're going to call me if you see something or if you feel unsafe at all. Anytime. Anywhere. I'll be there, okay? I promise you, it's going to be okay."
With a shaky sigh, you hug Sero, letting him wrap his arms around you. "Thanks, Sero. I really appreciate it."
