Epilogue

"Scorpius hurry up!" Albus shouted up the stairs to the dorms. I sighed. It was the end of the school year. That meant no Albus for two months. We could write but it wouldn't be the same. "Scorpius if you don't come down here right now I'm going to come up and fucking murder you!" He screamed. Albus has to be so dramatic sometimes. "Relax Albus I'm coming!" I called back. I took one last look at the room before leaving.

Albus was waiting at the bottom of the stairs. "The train leaves in two minutes you idiot. We're supposed to be on it!" "You worry too much" I respond. He rolled his eyes. Damn it. He knew that I can't concentrate when he rolls his eyes. We left the common room and made the train, just before it left. 

We went to find a compartment and luckily there was one free one left. "We could of missed the train!" Albus ranted. "Yeah...but we didn't" I responded. Albus looked at me mad. He opened his mouth to respond but before he could I crashed my lips onto his. He let me for a second but then pushed me back. 

"As lovely as it is to be kissing you, you are forgetting we are in public and Rose is bound to come looking for us soon." I groaned. "There's no one here! We are in the carriage furthest away from the others." Just as I finished talking Rose walked in. Albus smirked. "You got lucky!" I mouthed back. He just rolled his eyes. Ugh. Why did I tell him eye rolls are hot?

"You excited for the summer?" Rose asked. "Yeah I guess" Albus replied. "I'm not." I said without thinking. They looked at me confused. Shit. "Because we get our OWL's results..." I stammered. That was a good save. "Oh yeah I forgot about that" Rose responded, now looking worried. "I did so badly. I completely messed up History of Magic. And Transfiguration. And Charms. Oh shit I messed up everything." I laughed before saying, "you can't of done as badly in History of Magic as Harry Potter did!" Rose looked a bit happier. "I suppose your right. I didn't pass out in the middle of the exam. That's an achievement. It's hard enough to stay awake during the lesson!" I grinned. I then saw Albus looking scared. "What's up Albus?" I asked. 

"Remember what I said at the start of the year?" Me and Rose looked at him confused. "For people so smart you have terrible memories." He saw we didn't look any less puzzled. "Remember I said that if you think you're going to go badly then we're all screwed." I remembered. "Then I said everyone apart from Rose!" I responded laughing. "Yeah well, that's true. But if Rose thinks she's done bad then you have no idea how badly I've done." We all grinned at each other. Then Rose cleared her throat. "Guys I have to go back to my friends but before that I need to tell you something."

Me and Albus looked at each other confused. We turned our attention back to Rose you looked terrified now. "I haven't told anyone this and you are the first to know. Scorpius. I'm telling you this because I know you like me but this isn't fair on you." I was even more confused now. "Albus. I'm telling you this because you have the biggest heart I know. You tried to bring back Cedric Diggory for Godric's sake!" "And killed you while doing it." I muttered under my breath. Albus glared at me and Rose carried on. "But most importantly I'm telling you this because you know what it's like to feel different. So here we go. I'm gay."

 I fell silent for a moment before screaming "OMG Rose! Me too!" She looked at me confused. "But I thought you liked me..." She said shocked. "Oh I did. But notice how I've stopped asking you out lately? I realised I liked men. So now we have two gay best friends! Just like in the muggle movies!" Rose looked at me and then laughed. "Oh wow! What about you Albus!" I turned to look at him. What was his sexuality? "I'm not sure. I know I find men attractive. But there are some fine woman out there." "I think your bi!" I responded. I felt happy. I wasn't alone in my 'queerness'. I had a thought, so I looked at Albus and he seemed to of had the same thought. He nodded his head. 

"So now we're on the subject of big revelations!" I said dramatically, standing on one of the chairs. "I would like you to meet my new boyfriend." Rose looked excited. Albus confused. He can be so dumb sometimes. "Who is it!" Rose squealed. "Albus would you like to join me" I asked. Rose gasped. "Oh wow. OH WOW! That's so great you guys!" I smiled before sitting back down and giving Albus a big kiss. Just then the train pulled into platform 9 and 3 quarters. My mood was a lot better and I was almost excited to go back home. We got off the train together.

"Bye Scorp!" Rose called. I hated that nickname. But I let it pass.

"Bye Rose Bush!" I shouted back. I got that nickname from James Potter (senior). He used to call Lily Evans Lily-pad and it felt right to make Rose's nickname along the same lines. 

Rose glared but let it pass too.

"Bye Scorpius!" Albus called. Already starting to hug his family. I felt jealous but then reminded myself that my dad's been a lot more affectionate lately.

"Bye Albus! Remember to owl your results!" I replied.

I turned and saw dad standing nearby. I walk over to him. "Hi dad" I say giving him an awkward hug. 

"Hi Scorpius." His tone was cold. What did that mean? He realised that he was sounding stern so he lightened his tone a bit. "I missed you over Christmas!" He said. I laughed. "I missed you too dad." He smiled. "Let's go home now" he said. I didn't move. I was still talking to my friends. "Unless you want to spend your holidays shouting across a train station?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "No I'm good" I responded smiling. "Let's go"

So that really is the end! I enjoyed writing this story a lot and luckily, I plan on writing a few more! I'm thinking of writing an series (still based in the hp universe) so lmk what you think!
