"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my ship!"

Everyone cheer at the man standing on the platform inside the ballroom. Too loud for me.

"This is my latest work, a cruise ship I have been working on for quite a long time. It has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Today marks its first sail and I'm glad you all came here to have fun with me. Let's party!" He raises his wine glass.

"Tsk, dickhead."

"Yoojin! Language, we have kids here." Eric shushes him. "You see this man Ria? His name is Leonard Lee. Half Korean and half Italian. He is a powerful warship merchant."

"Didn't he say a traveling ship?" I'm confused, did I hear wrong?

Yoojin sighs "Well, this one may or may not be this kind of ship. You see, he likes to hide his weapons inside the unsuspecting passengers and illegally transfer them to other governments, without anyone knowing. This ship is another work of his to pass unnoticed."

"So, there are weapons inside the ship right now?" That's dangerous.

"Relax, this is child's play. You have to get used to it."

"That's dangerous, you know? There are too many people on the ship."

"For a seventeen year old brat, you care too much for the sake of others." Yoojin points out.

I scoff and turn my head to him. Man, this place is full of people. Men and women of all kinds, businessmen with their dolled up partners and businesswomen with no one by their side, an act of power, showing they don't need a man to stand strong. All the types of fakeness, all gathered in one place.

I still can't believe it.
Few weeks ago I was lazily sitting in my house while watching tv and reading, not caring for the future and the next minute I was following one crazy man into the unknown who asked me to help him change the world.

Eric really left an impressive image in our first meeting. "Follow me!" Was his words. "And let's make this world a better place for all these people who are daily mistreated like this old granny you just saved". And that's how I followed him.

I know, it sounds stupid, but I did.

What I didn't know was I would be traveling with more than one unknown person. Yoojin was my mentor. When Eric said I would be taught under someone's wings I thought it would be him. But, he passed me to his right hand. The excuse he gave me? "Yoojin has a problem with communication. Especially women. I believe your presence will help him." Apparently, my presence infuriated him more. But I was Ria, I wouldn't go down without a fight. He is still infuriated (and infuriating). He still doesn't likes me, but we have improvised on the training part.

As I knew, the name of the organization I was going to be part of was Gaia. A big organization helping the people in need. Rich or poor. No exeptions. Something like a military for humans, without country borders. It was created many years ago by Eric and Yoojin's great grandfathers and won the favors of many governments around the world. Still, it wasn't a name you heard everyday. People, the civilians, barely knew the power lurking in the darkness protecting them. I still didn't know how the work was done. How Gaia knew when to help a random person out of the blue. But it was exactly that part that intrigued me.

When Eric came of age, he inherited the leadership, while Yoojin on the other hand, became the second in command. That's one of the reasons Eric couldn't get a student under his wing. Hence, here I am, stuck with Yoojin, who -surprise surprise- he had another student. Nick. Personality? Let's say, you never knew what you would get, Yoojin or Eric. He grew up watching over them, admiring them even more. It was natural he inherited their habits and behaviors. That way, he was unstoppable. He was also twenty four, but despite that we were getting along pretty well.
