Hoseok

I watch the small whirlpools dancing in the river at my command. This has been my secret place since I was a kid. Close to the house, but no one knows it. Not even my teammates. It's been hours I'm here, the night, calm as it is, accompanies me. I have come to realize that I just have to think about what I want and force the power out. If I want to make whirlpools, I think about making whirlpools. If I want to make fire, I think about making fire. If I want to burst the whole mountains around my house and turn everything to dust, well, I just have to think about that.

This is too much. My mom. Dad. Anselm, who's real name is Jinhyuk and -surprise surprise- is my uncle who I used to bark at and bite him. Taejun, who's my dear little cousin I had forgotten about. The elders who have been hiding everything from me and... Hyungsoo. My little brother, the existance of who I have been ignoring up until now.

And then.... I sense her before I hear her. Great, I think that's another power I have. "I shouldn't have shown you this place."

She signs. "This is the exact reason you showed me, Hoseok." She stands behind me, as I sit on the grass. "Well, I can leave, I guess."

I hold her hand, eyes still looking at the water in front. "Stay. Speak." I squeeze it. "Please." She takes a sit next to me and my eyes find her face. She looks tired, exhausted.

"I met Eric when I was seventeen. A few weeks before we met on the ship for the first time. As the new head of the organization, he was trying to make a new open to the world. Yoojin was, as you can imagine, so annoyed by his commander. They had been raised with a strict way to follow the rules their fathers had, but Eric wasn't like that. He couldn't cope with this. He was a little rebel, just too scared to do anything, when he had no one who could understand his pointview. And-"

"He met you." I cut her.

She gives me a small smile. "Yeah..."

"You are crazy!" I manage to say as I try to catch my breath from all this running.

"You are welcome, dear!" He answers in a much better way than me. Now that I take the time to observe him, he looks trained, his muscles show through the white shirt he wears, his jacket hanging on his left shoulder.

"That wasn't a compliment." I roll my eyes. "You are a lunatic."

"That makes two of us, kid." He winks at me.

"I'm not a lunatic."

"Is that so?" His hands cross in front of him. "Because that's what you certainly don't call a little wobbly girl who were standing at mere inches from gun's pointview, right?"

"Well," I play with my fingers nervous. "What should I had do when the old lady was having a panic attack?" Then it hits me. "Oh my God, I was about to get killed, didn't I? Oh my God." My breath hitches.

He laughs. "Relax. You are safe now, kid."

"My name is Ria." I say now, annoyed. "And I'm seventeen!"

He raises an eyebrow. "Your point?"

I shake my head, because it's not wise to kick his balls. "How did you do that back then?"

"Magic!"

"Tsk. Shouldn't have bothered. My bad. Have a nice day, crazy old man."

He jerks back, shocked. "Old man?" Of course, that's what bothered him. "I'm thirty."

I stop for a second, giving him the same look. "Your point?" Before resuming my walking.

"Wait wait wait." He jumps in front of me. "My name is Eric-"
