Ria

"Hahaha, dear Ria, funny as always." Ronan laughs.

He is a well-known producer and has collaborated with many famous groups and soloists. He is also Haidi's close friend. Something like a mentor. When she wrote her first song 'Nabi', he was curious to meet the person behind the nickname Nymphalidae.

Unique, right? We found it together, since we love butterflies and we always believed in the butterfly effect as kids.

When Ronan met with Haidi, they clicked pretty well. Despite the 7 years gap, they look like good friends and I like that. He is one of the few people I like. He doesn't seem like he has any malicious feeling. He probably can't even hurt an ant. He is a sweetheart. He taught Haidi and helped her get inside the circle. With her own pace. She didn't want to use his name for fame.

"It's not my fault. You should have seen her expression. She thought everyone should know her because -and I quote- I'm a top fashion artist and you should greet me." I mimick. "Of course I had to put her in place."

"And what did you say to her to change ten colors in seconds?" Haidi clearly enjoys it.

"I asked her who she was." They can't hold their laughers.

"Man, you're unbelievable. This woman is a really well-known name in the fashion industry." He manages to say.

"Yes and Ria is well-known for her fashion terrorism."

"Hey." I snap at her. "What's wrong with my fashion? Simple, casual and comfy. My work requires it that way after all. I mean, I can't go on a mission with high heels on, right?"

We keep joking and laughing, while the party goes on. The dancing has long now started and everyone circle around with their partners. It's a classic dance, like vals and tango.

People search for different partners in each song. I mean, that's a tactic to make new acquaintance and relationships. That's the purpose of the ball.

"My lady." Ronan forwards his hand towards Haidi, playfully. "Will you do me the honor?" She giggles and takes his hand. Ronan moves them around the dance floor. Her red dress floats in the air and she looks like the burning sun.

Haidi loves dancing and so do I, but after I entered the business, I had to dance with many strangers and eventually I stopped. I didn't want to be touched. Now that I think about it, it has been so long since I last danced.

A young man approaches me and asks for a dance. I politely reject him. I sigh. That's why I said I didn't want to come. I feel the panic attack comes as a group of filthy men make their way towards me. They stop halfway. Their gazes frozen in shock behind me. They turn and leave. Strange.

Seconds later a short chubby man, quite handsome and probably in his forties followed by seven tall and -extremely hot- charismatic men welcome me with bright smiles. I recognize them.

"Pleased to meet you, young lady." He extends his hand for a hand-kissing.

I am hesitant, but his sweet smile makes me unable to turn him down. He does not scares me. He gently pulls my hand to his mouth and kisses it. I feel my cheeks heating up. I'm embarrassed. A man has never treated me with such respect. A true gentleman. "My name is Bang Si Hyuk."

"The pleasure is mine." I give a bow. "My name is Ria."

"I know you." Interesting.

"How come?"
