Til death do us part //SMITH X READER//

Chapter 4

(I've already gathered the story in my mind and as a warning. I'm pretty sure, this can't even be recognised as the fourth movie... It has some of the same stuff but it will be like really different.. For example the whole memory losing thing should mean more in my opinion than it did in the fourth movie..)

"Smith?!" You asked. "I have you now. I will kill you and finish off Mr. Anderson. Then I have completed my purpose." The barrel of his gun rested against your forehead. It was cold and your heartbeat sped up. "Don't do this, Smith. Please. I love you." The maniac like smile he held wavered. He chuckled, trying to sound intimidating but you could see he was lost. Holding that pistol must have somehow uncovered some of his hidden memories since this did not seem at all like your friendly boss, Mr. Smith. "I know you can't do it because you love me too. Somewhere deep down you must remember." You spoke passionately.

Smith groaned in pain as Morpheus knocked him out. "I've managed to allow him to get through the mirror, Morpheus." Nova said once again appearing next to Morpheus. You picked up your husband's body. And carried him with you.

"Will you take Smith as your husband and love him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

You rushed after Morpheus. Smith was really heavy.. You huffed adjusting him in your arms. Morphues held open the bathroom door. You rushed in and stopped by the sink. The sound of firing guns felt distant as you examined Smith's face. He never failed to send a rush through you and awaken the butterflies in your stomach. 

"I do." Morpheus turned to look at Smith. "Will you take (Y/n) (Y/l/n) as your wife and live together in matrimony, love her,  honor her and comfort her?" You felt nervous as you raised your eyes to meet his again. 

"I do."

"NOW, (Y/N)!" Morpheus yelled following after you. You had been caught in the memory and you shook your head. You quickly climbed on the sink. You had to go through the mirror sideways to fit you and Smith through. 

You laid down the ex-agent on the floor. "Is he alright?" Phoenix asked. "I think so." You said out of breath sitting next to him. You brushed a few strand of hair from his relaxed face with a warm smile. Then you frowned remembering what had happened earlier. "I think they have reset him somehow, or incrypted some memories. I'm pretty sure that if he didn't remember anything, he would have shot me. It is most likely that holding a firearm again caused the recovery of memories." Phoenix blew out a breath. "You two just can't seem to catch a break, can you?" Morpheus entered through the mirror. You looked at Phoenix with a melancholic smile. "We did. After our marriage. There was a period when everything was good. I'm trying to remember but there's just so much to remember. It's all coming back though." 

"God.." Neo crumbled to the floor. "Oh yeah. The new red pill hits pretty hard, what I've heard. But it is able to free you on it's own so it's strong stuff." Phoenix walked next to Neo. She offered her hand and Neo took it. Phoenix helped him up. Soon after he disappeared. "We should get out of here. The code of the Motel is so old we'll have to abandon the place for safety reasons." Morpheus walked next to Phoenix and you. "What about Smith?" You asked getting up to face Valo's captain. "Well." Nova suddenly appeared and you barely held in a scream. "Can you PLEASE stop appearing suddenly like that!? Can't you like inform somehow before you do, mr. Operator?" Nova chuckled awkwardly and gave you an apologetic look. He looked actually hurt by what you said and how you had said it. "I'm sorry. That was unnecessary." He gave you a small smile. "It's fair enough, I did really scare you after all. I'm sorry." You nodded.

"But yeah. Uhm. I just wanted to inform that an interesting plot twist has come up. I tried to inform you guys about it earlier, before the whole shooting thing. Smith's reading's aren't program like." He pulled up a video of some code. It levitated in midair. You wondered how much the hologram operator could do in the Matrix.. "This is what a program's code looks like." Then he pulled up another set of code. "This is Smith's code." Morpheus looked at it, wide eyed.  "That looks.." "Human! Slight differences to the regular but still really similiar." Nova finished his sentence excited by his new found information. You looked at it with your mouth agape. "So.. Smith is like a human? Does he have a body?" You asked. "A program that has somehow been turned into a human. He most likely posesses a body now, but I've never seen anything like it. I'm trying to locate his body right now." Nova explained excited.

Morpheus left the Matrix to help Tilla make sure Neo's awakening went smoothly as possible. Nix entered the matrix  to help you in case Smith attacked when he was awake. You unarmed him since you were the closest with him. You also removed his glasses, though it was unnecessary. As much as it hurt you, Phoenix and you tied Smith to an old pipe with handcuffs. 

"Alright. I have located his body. He seems to be right next to where you were (Y/n)." Nova stated surprised. "I remember seeing four pods there. I wondered who the fourth one was." You chuckled. "We'll have to wait until he wakes up and then offer him the chance to be freed from the matrix via a red pill."
