Chapter Twenty-Two---Tower

"Slow down, you might trip!"

The five year old in front of her stopped running and turned towards her.

"Okay. This place is so big!"

"This is the Mogoru Empire's capital, so it would tend to be. There is a Church of the Sun God here, as well as The Alchemist Bell Tower."

"Alchemist?"

"Oh, I never taught you about that huh. Would you like to learn alchemy? There are lots of things you can do with it, and sometimes, you can merge it with magic. I haven't learned it, so maybe we can together?"

"That sounds fun!"

Kila chuckled as she responded.

"That's good. Should we go see if there's a way to get lessons or hire a tutor?"

"Okay! But I'm hungry."

"Should we go to a restaurant, or a food stall?"

"Mmm..."

The child's face was screwed up weirdly as he tried to decide.

"Restaurant..?"

"Alright then!"

She began scanning the area with her attribute after hearing his response.

"Mom? Why is there mana around your eyes?"

"Do you remember what I taught you about dragons?"

"Growth phase?"

"Close, but I meant the ability we get after our first one."

"Attribute!"

"Correct! My attribute is related to sight, it called 'Clairvoyance,' and it let's me see anywhere I want."

"Oh! So are you finding a restaurant?"

"Yup, found one. I'm going to pick you up kay?"

Instead of verbally replying he just ran to her. Kila chuckled as he ran into her arms. The restaurant she'd decided on wasn't far away, but she felt lazy and started flying.

"Woah..."

She smiled at his reaction before speeding up. Some people looked at her, but since it's not illegal to fly, no one really cared. Flying there shortened travel time considerably and they were soon in front of the restaurant.

"Hello!"

A waiter energetically greeted them at the door and Aerin responded in kind.

"Hi!"

The waiter smiled as they led them to their seat. Kila and Aerin were dressed elegantly, so the service was quite good.

"Here's a menu, just call me when you're ready."

"Alright, thank you."

The menu was a variety of soups and sandwiches, which Aerin was happy about.

'Hmm, I miss hamburgers. I could make a machine to grind beef.'

"Hey bud, would you like to help me find cows?"

"Cows? Why?"

"There's a type of sandwich called a hamburger that uses beef. Beef is from cows, so I need them. I'll make another farm. This one will be in the Roan Kingdom, so I need another manager as well."

Kila, knowing people are rude and will gladly steal ideas, had put up a soundproof barrier before talking, and now took it down.

"Mm..."
