RanHOE: is dazai okay?

My Chibikko~: oh yeah he just needs some rest

RanHOE: oh okay that's good

My Chibikko~: yea

Bitter Coffee: @RanHOE @Rashomeow @Ryuu's love @Annabelle
Bitter Coffee: are we still up for today?

RanHOE: ofc as long as you are still comfortable with it

Bitter Coffee: oh yeah its okey

Rashomeow: me and sushi are still coming

Annabelle: ill still be there

Bitter Coffee: okay just checking
Bitter Coffee: see you later

Poe opened the door letting Ranpo in and passed a lollipop to the shorter male. "Fhank yof" Ranpo cheered already stuffing his face. It made Poe's heart beat rapidly in his ribcage. "N-no problem," He stammered. His attention was drawn back to the door when Atsushi, Lucy, and Akutagawa started knocking. Poe wasn't surprised to see Akutagawa with Atsushi, they were practically inseparable.

He let them in and led them to the main area where Ranpo was already sitting on the couch eating the chocolates Poe had stashed for him. He was playing a game on the mobile gaming system he always had. Atsushi and Akutagawa sat close next to each other jokingly bickering about something Atsushi had said. Lucy kind of just watched with amusement.

He sat next to Ranpo and watched as he played a game and built a small island with animals. Ranpo automatically leaned against Poe as he sat down which flustered Poe beyond saving, still he had to say something since it was beginning to get awkward.

"What are you playing?" He whispered for no reason.

"Nothing" Ranpo sighed and tossed the device away instead opting to lean further to the side and onto Poe. Poe's breathing paused before he decided to put his arm over Ranpo.

"Don't fall" He murmured and Ranpo turned to wrap his arms around Poe's waist.

To say Poe was flustered was the understatement of the year, his face was beet red and you could see the gay panic in his eyes. Poe obviously didn't mind being near Ranpo but he didn't want to make him uncomfortable. Suddenly Ranpo looked up at Poe,

"Are you okay with this?" He asked in a small almost insecure voice. It hurt Poe to hear the fear so he quickly replied

"Yeah, Yeah" and patted the detectives head. Ranpo continued to lie in Poe's lap and eat chocolates. Poe reached over Ranpo and grabbed a book off the coffee table. Ranpo started fiddling with the bottom of the book.

"Ranpo?"

He glanced at Poe. "Hmm?" Ranpo mumbled.

"Are you okay?" Poe asked. A few different emotions flashed through emerald eyes.

"I'm just debating something."

Poe thought of a few things Ranpo could be thinking of. Debating which snack to grab? Debating if he should buy a new snack he'd seen? Debating confessing to someone? Poe cut off his train of thought as soon as that last one came up.

"Debating w-what?" He stumbled.

"If I should ask someone out"

Poe's stomach dropped at that.

"Oh, who?" He asked.

"One of my friends'' Poe felt even worse.

"O-Oh which one?" Ranpo smirked as if he's figured it out.

"I'll tell you later after they leave," Ranpo gestured toward the others.

"Oh okay" Poe murmured.

Ranpo grabbed the device back from where he had tossed it and rolled onto his stomach over Poe's lap. Poe eventually got over how flustered he became and went to rest his arms on Ranpo's back.

Ranpo kept thinking. He would tell Poe that he liked him that night. He had decided by seeing how absolutely clueless Poe was. The complete confusion in the lavender eyes staring back. There was also a hint of something else but Ranpo didn't care to think about it. He was starting to hope the others would leave soon.

After 2 hours the others had gone home. Ranpo finally got the chance to talk to Poe. They were in the kitchen and Ranpo was sitting on the counter and Poe was in front of him. Poe was the first to bring it up.

"Hey Ranpo? Who was the person you were debating asking out?" Poe questioned.

Ranpo smirked knowing that Poe would get really flustered. Ranpo grabbed Poe's cheeks and pulled him closer.

"It was you," He said, leaning his forehead against Poe's. Poe stammered for a really long time before finally muttering

"M-me?" He asked. Ranpo giggled.

"Yes Poe you"

Poe turned 1000000x more red than he had been before.

"I-i...yea heh yea i'd love to go out" Ranpo chuckled yet again and pressed a kiss to Poe's nose. He pulled the ex-guild member and snuggled close to him.

"Hehe my poe~"

(yeah im really sorry I lost all motivation and I couldn't think of anything to write so these chapters might suck but I promise I'm not going on hiatus or ending this book anytime soon I still have plans and thanks for staying with me through the period when I wasn't updating as often)
