"Just another typical day, huh?"

The principal stared at us, her face serious and stern.

"Go to the office lady for your timetables and form classes," she instructed, her voice devoid of emotion.

Hyunjin nodded in acknowledgment.

"You are all dismissed," she added.

We stood up and bowed respectfully, a silent gesture of obedience.

She rose from her seat, adding, "Also... no violence."

We avoided eye contact, suddenly uncomfortable under her gaze.

We left the office and made our way to the office lady. I couldn't help but laugh, replaying the memory of Niki getting chewed out by the principal. He noticed and immediately smacked the back of my head.

"Shut up! It's so embarrassing," he muttered, looking irritated.

I continued to wheeze with laughter as we arrived outside the office, waiting for the office lady to show up.

Suddenly, a woman appeared from behind the desk, startling Niki, who latched onto me dramatically, wrapping his legs around my arms. His face pale with shock.

"Are you the Hwang family?" she asked, looking at us over the rim of her glasses.

"Yes, we're the Hwang family," Hyunjin replied calmly.

The lady began printing what I assumed were our timetables.

"Hwang Hyunjin?" she called out, and Hyunjin stepped up to collect his. Then calling the rest of our names.

"Here are your classes," the office lady explained. "On the top right, you'll find your form class. Each of you will be in different forms. The timetable runs on a ten-day cycle. Today is Day One, and this week covers Days One to Five. Next week picks up with Day Six to Ten, and then the cycle repeats. Got it?"

We all nodded as we absorbed in the information.

Hyunjin looked over his timetable, murmuring, "Looks like I have English first."

Niki groaned loudly as he read his own. "I've got math!"

I burst out laughing at his misery until I glanced at my own timetable.

"Are you fucking kidding—" I exclaimed, only to be silenced by a sharp slap on the head from Yeji, ten times harder than Niki's earlier hit.

"Ow!" I yelped, rubbing my sore head.

"Ha! Bitch you got PE," Niki teased before Yeji slapped him too.

"And from now on, neither of you is allowed to swear at this school," Yeji added sternly, glaring at us

We exchanged confused looks, rolling our eyes.

"Anyway," Yeji said, ignoring the eye rolling from the two youngers, "I've got art. Let's just go our separate ways and meet up at the rooftop after form."
