Chapter 7: Lying about her

Dahyun always follow Nayeon around like what she always do before and Nayeon doesn't seem to be annoyed on it, well sometimes

Mingyu noticed that and his blood boils whenever he sees Dahyun annoying Nayeon, the thing Dahyun does to Nayeon is annoying to him because he wasn't able to invite Nayeon to a date or to somewhere where the two of them is alone

Last time where it rains and Nayeon doesn't have an umbrella, Mingyu wad about to call Nayeon that time but Dahyun stole his spot, she glare at Dahyun as the two leave the school

Because of that he thinks of a stupid thing in his life that he's going to do and it seems like he's not letting fight back on his decision

"Are you crazy bro?, i know that you hate Dahyun but you can't do that" Dk said

"What do you mean i can't do that?, that's the only way where Nayeon avoids Dahyun!, and to be wih me!" Mingyu said

"Yeah! but it's wrong lying about her! lying that she beat up some random stranger at the street while walking home!" Dk said

"I totally agree, that's the dumbest thing i ever heard" Jaehyun said

"Ay no way, she'll believe it, why?, because Dahyun is a trouble maker, she cause a lot of trouble!" Mingyu said

"Dude, whatever it is, I'm sorry but I'm out, i know Dahyun is not that kind of person who's beating out someone all of the sudden" Dk said

"Then fine, telling you this is a wrong idea" Mingyu said

"yeah you're right, cuz I'm out of this either" Jaehyun said

"Whatever, I'm going" Mingyu said and leave his friends

As he walks on the school always he saw Nayeon that makes his soul light up and smirks on his way to her

"Nayeon!, you going home already?" Mingyu asked

"Huh?, oh hey Mingyu, and yeah, my classes are done" Nayeon said

"Then what are you still doing here roaming around the hallways?" Mingyu asked but Nayeon didn't answer

"Perhaps, you're still looking for that Dahyun girl aren't you?" Mingyu asked

"Tsk, why would i?" Nayeon asked

"Ay, i bet that's it, you know Nayeon you need to stay away from her, she's bad influence! plus causes a lot of trouble, i know you know that right?" Mingyu said

"I know, I'm not dumb Gyu" Nayeon said

"Right!, wait, didn't you know that she and her friends got into a fight with a group of gangs while on their way home yesterday?" Mingyu said and made up a new lie because he remembered what his friends said that the idea of lie he said was dumb

Nayeon immediately looked at Mingyu when she heard that from him

"No way, she's with me yesterday" Nayeon said

'Shit Mingyu, think!, think!' Mingyu thought

"Yeah, after she walks you home yesterday" Mingyu lied and Nayeon gave him a suspicious eyes

"How come you know?" Nayeon asked

"Because...!, i saw it with my own two eyes! so as my friends, didn't you know that she has a lot of bruise and wounds because of the fight?" Mingyu said

"Does she?" Nayeon asked

"Yes!, she's wearing a hoodie probably because to hide her bruises and wounds, so if i were you, i would avoid her for the rest of my life, now, allow me to walk you home" Mingyu said and gently pushed Nayeon to walk ahead

Nayeon got curious if Dahyun really got into a fight or is Mingyu just lying to her?

She just shrugged it off and waited for tomorrow come

*Next day*

As Nayeon gets ready to school she knows Dahyun is already waiting for her, so as soon as she came out Dahyun scares her cutely

"Aww, why didn't you got scared?" Dahyun asked

"Because you scaring me cutely won't work" Nayeon said

"But kid, I'm going to ask you something and i want you to be honest about it" Nayeon said

Dahyun felt nervous of what Nayeon suddenly said

"Sure, ask away my Nayeonie!" Dahyun said

"What did you do after you walk me home the other night?" Nayeon seriously asked

"Me?, i go home after that, but of course i bought a sweet corn on my way home" Dahyun said

"Really?" Nayeon asked

"Yeah!" Dahyun said

"You're not lying?" Nayeon asked

"Nope, i never lie to you my Nayeonie!" Dahyun said

"Are you sure?" Nayeon asked again

"Yes for a thousand time" Dahyun said and Nayeon suddenly approach her that caught her off guard

"W-what are you doing?" Dahyun asked as Nayeon inspects her body by pulling out her hoodie

She grab Dahyun's arms and look for bruises and wounds but there's none, her skin is still whiter than white

"Then what is Mingyu saying that you and your friends have a fight with some gangs after you walk me home?" Nayeon asked that makes Dahyun eyebrows furrowed

"What?, Mingyu?, wait that guy who....., he said that?!" Dahyun asked

"Yeah, but....." Nayeon said

'That darn asshole, don't make me deal with you' Dahyun thought as she deeply sigh

"Tsk, he probably just lied to make you avoid me, I'm not kind of person Nayeon, and i hope you know that, if i ever beat someone up, that means i have a reason for to do that, anyways, shall we walk to school?" Dahyun said and offer her hand to Nayeon

'Aish I don't know what the fuck is even is this' Nayeon thought and gave her hand to Dahyun and intertwined it

They walk to school together but someone is following them secretly

"Damnit!, why wouldn't she avoid her?!, i need to do something more even realistic that to the point she'll believe me" Mingyu said as he clench his fist
