Chapter 22: Stay

After the baseball match the energetic Dahyun who's cheering and yelling her whole heart out for her cousin who won the game is now quietly walking around with Nayeon

'What's with this kid?, she been so energetic early now she's quiet as fuck, perhaps she still feel sick?' Nayeon thought

"Hey" Nayeon called for Dahyun but she didn't heard it

"Dahyun" Nayeon called again but no response

"Hey!" Nayeon said and shake Dahyun's shoulder

"h-huh?, w-what?, sorry, i couldn't hear you" Dahyun said and look at Nayeon

"Are you alright?, seems like something is bothering you, are you still sick?, don't you feel well?, is there something hurts around your body?, what is it then?" Nayeon bombarded her questions

"Oh...., that's a lot of questions, but I'm fine don't worry, I'm just thinking about something" Dahyun said

"Something like what?" Nayeon asked but Dahyun shake her head and give her a smile

"Forget it, I'll walk you home" Dahyun said and hold Nayeon's hand and continue to walk

'What's with her?' Nayeon thought

They both walk to Nayeon's house quietly while holding each others hand, Nayeon is bothered on how Dahyun is been quiet the whole walk

They arrived at Nayeon's house

"We're here, i guess I'll see you tomorrow?" Dahyun said not sure about her answer

Dahyun was about to let go of her hand on Nayeon but Nayeon tightens it and pulled it

"Stay" Nayeon shortly said

"p-pardon?" Dahyun asked

"I said stay for the night, it's late too, just tell your parents you're going to stay at a friend's house" Nayeon said

'Shit, i was about to ask her if i can stay for the night but then this happen, what a coincidence' Dahyun thought

"You sure it's okay with you?" Dahyun asked

"I'm sure Dahyun, besides my parents won't be home for a while, y'know busy from work and stuff" Nayeon said and pulled Dahyun to the front door

She opened the door and pulled her inside

Nayeon finally let go of Dahyun's hand

"Make yourself at home" Nayeon said as she walks to the kitchen

"Have you eaten yet?" Nayeon asked

"Yeah, but that was earlier after i leave for the game" Dahyun said and hesitantly sat down on the couch

"Hey, don't hesitate to do whatever you want in here, there's no rules here" Nayeon said

"Y-yeah, okay" Dahyun said, she felt weird on how Nayeon is acting tonight

First she didn't got scolded, instead, she got to wear Nayeon's cute bear jacket and she even hugged her, second, she let Dahyun stay here for the night which is Dahyun is greatful for because she's not ready to meet hell in her house and third Nayeon telling that there's no rules in here and make herself home

"Hey, I'm cooking ramen for the both of us to eat, is that okay?" Nayeon asked

"Sure, I'd be okay to eat anything" Dahyun said

"Do you want to change your clothes?" Nayeon asked

"h-huh?, no, i mean, your bear jacket feels okay" Dahyun said
