Chapter 27: Welcome home

As Dahyun arrived outside her house she felt so nervous to go inside, she thought of possible things that her father will do if she enters this hell, she approached the door and was about to open it as she heard her father looking for her

'Shit' Dahyun thought as she close her eyes and bite her lips

She slowly turn the door knob and slowly push the door open, she open her eyes and saw her father standing looking at the door revealing her and her mother sitting at the couch 

"Speaking of the devil, welcome home" Her father said in sarcasm

"I thought you didn't want to go home, i was about to sell all your stuff here" Her father added

Dahyun looked down as she closed the door

"I'm sorry..." Dahyun apologized and her father just scoffed at her

"Are you really sorry?, you've been gone for six days, for fucking six days Dahyun. where have you been huh?" Her father said as he crossed his arms

"Even at your birthday you weren't here. didn't you know i throw a party for your birthday at the company?, but what a surprise! you weren't answering my calls and texts that's why you couldn't go to my company. you just fucking waste my time and money!" Her father yells 

"Tell me, where are you in this past six days?, are you even going to school?, or you're starting to slack off?" Her father bombarded her questions

"Answer me!" Her father yells as he approached Dahyun

Dahyun clench her fist and tightly closed her eyes 

"I-i....was with my f-friends" Dahyun said with fear as she felt herself trembling 

"Friends?, wait, is it those three stupid kids who doesn't care about their grades and always slack off?" Her father asked

"Didn't i told you stay away from them?, they're bad influence to you!, yet you're still hanging out with them?, so that means you're disobeying me?!" Her father angrily said

"Th-they're not bad influence, ...and they're not stupid and they're not slacking off..." Dahyun said

"What?, wah, so you're siding with them huh?, wah unbelievable" Her father said

"So if they're not that bad influence, tell me, do they help you?, do they feed you like i do?, do they pay for your tuition at school?" Her father asked

"They don't pay for my tuition, but they help me a lot, they always make me laugh and smile, everytime i'm sad they always do their best to make me happy, they feed me also, in fact they're a better parent than you" Dahyun firmly said

"What the fuck did you say?" Her father said as he approached Dahyun closer

"say it again, i didn't hear it clearly, them?, a better parent than me?" Her father asked

"Yeah!, they're better because you are the worst of the worst!" Dahyun burst that makes her father slapped her hard

"Since when you learn to yell back huh?, you're getting tough huh? you think you can beat me huh?" Her father asked as he holds Dahyun collar

"Honey calm down, i told you to talk this out with her" Her mother said stopping his husband

"Stay away from me!" Her father yells as he push his wife causing her to fall down on the floor and hitting head on the table near the couch

"Don't hurt mom!" Dahyun said as he push his father

"Wow so now you're fighting back huh?, come here" Her father said as he motion Dahyun to come near him

"I said come here!" He said as he harshly grabbed Dahyun's hair

"You never learn your lesson huh, that's why you always get hurt because you always disobey me!, and now you learn to fight back?, then do it! do it!" He said as he tigthen the grabbed at Dahyun's hair

"Then if you're not doing it, let me" Her father said and pushed Dahyun to fall down on the floor

"They're better than me?, huh?!, better than me!, lies!, no one is better than me!" Her father said

"You!, you rascal!, i always work my ass to take care of you yet this?!" He yells and kicked Dahyun

"Huh?!, do you even know how hard i work just to fucking feed you?!?!" Her father burst as he continue to kick her

"And you!, you don't even give a fuck where does this little shit go?, you don't even know where?!, she's your daughter you supposed to know it while I'm gone!" Her father yells at his wife

"I said don't put mom into this!" Dahyun said as tears start forming in her eyes

"This..." Her father hissed as he grabs the baseball bat that is displayed and start to hit it on Dahyun

Dahyun yelps in pain as she cover her head for protection

"I hate you, i hate you, i hate you!" Her father said as he hits Dahyun

"You're such a disgrace!, a fucking burden to my life!, you don't care about anything!, you only care for yourself!, you selfish fuck!" Her father said

Dahyun tears fall down as she felt all of her body weak because of the bat getting hit on her everywhere

"Honey stop!" Her mom said and pulled his arm to stop hitting Dahyun

"I said stay the fuck away from me!" Her father said and push her again and Dahyun was a about stop him but it was too late when her father hit her forehead using the baseball bat

Because of the hard impact, Dahyun falls down harshly on the floor while  her forehead is bleeding

Her father breathes heavily as he saw the bat has blood on it so as Dahyun's forehead

"That's what you get, I have enough with this shit, I'mma out of here" Her father said and threw the bat on Dahyun and leave the house

Her mother approach her crying that makes Dahyun sob

"I'm so-sorry Dahyun-ah" Her mother said as she gently hold Dahyun's forehead

"I'm sorry" Her mother said and hugged her

Dahyun cried all her heart out because of how tired she is, on how her father always act like this, how she's being all abused, and on how she feel her body so numb and weak
