Chapter 12: I do miss her

It's been days since Nayeon is alone, Jihyo is busy on her role as a secretary in the student council

Nayeon feels her body no energy since the past few days, she's too lazy to move or even to go to school but still she still go because of her attendance, she needs it to be perfect even though she's not feeling well or she's sick

"Hey Nayeon, sorry about what Mingyu did" Dk said as he pass by at Nayeon who's playing her food

Nayeon knew that the rumor that Mingyu made up on Dahyun wasn't true, she knows it in the first place but she didn't do something about it that makes her a bit guilty on it but she denies it

She didn't mind what Dk said and just continue playing her food, it seems like she's not interested on eating

She remembers how Dahyun scold her on how she's not eating her food, and how Dahyun always go to her whenever she's alone

Nayeon smiles at the thought of that and finally eat her food because of the thought of Dahyun scolding her on not eating her food

She head to her classroom for the next class, she sat down and sighed deeply

As the teacher comes, their topic for English starts and she's not listening

"Is she the person you thought you never wanted?" The teacher asked that caught Nayeon's attention

She remembered what Aeri and Jihyo said to her

Dahyun is the person you thought you never wanted

you do care for Dahyun you just don't show it, sometimes the person you always need is the person you never thought you wanted

Different sentences but the word 'The person you thought is the person never wanted

"Peter asked, Daniel didn't know what to answer so Peter said something to him again" The teacher said

"I bet it is, because as i can see on your eyes that you miss her, you remembered the time where she is always with you, you sometimes even feel Deja Vu on the things she does for you, well my friend, if that's so, that means you do miss her" The teacher said explaining the story for their lesson

Nayeon suddenly felt something hit her head

Does she really misses Dahyun?

Cause on what she heard maybe it is, she always remember how Dahyun always walk her to school even at home, always great her Good morning or say have a good day with a 'my Nayeonie' part in it

She admit that she miss hearing those, she miss the kid's presence, the way the kid called her my Nayeonie, the way the kid always hold her hand and the way their hands are cute together because of Nayeon's big hand and Dahyun's small hand

The way Dahyun kiss her cheek and forehead is still lingering on her

'Do i really miss her?' Nayeon asked herself

....

It's already after class when it suddenly rain

Nayeon stopped on her tracks on the school door and felt another Deja Vu on her

She remembers how Dahyun sneak behind her with an umbrella on her hand and how she's being scold again for not being bringing an umbrella

She looks back and saw and empty hallway, no Dahyun in sight

The hallways is full of sorrow, the rain make it more sorrowful, Dahyun is known as a trouble maker but yet a ball of sunshine

Whenever the room feels sorrow Dahyun will came out and remove the sorrow and replace it with happiness

The lame jokes she say that never failed to make the others laugh, her contagious laugh and her crazy dances to bright up the mood

Looking back to that makes Nayeon thinks

"Maybe i do miss her....." Nayeon said as she look up at the rain

Nayeon got home all soaked wet because of the rain, she walks like it wasn't raining and it's just a normal sunny day

She head to the bathroom to take a shower

As she's showering she wonders if Dahyun will scold her on what she did, she let herself soaked in the rain because she doesn't have any umbrella

Would Dahyun really care about that?

Those thoughts makes Nayeon decide, she knows she'll not regret on this decision

"Yes, it's final, I'll confront her tomorrow" Nayeon said and continue to wash her hair
