Rafe POV:
Whilst i drive home i make a pit spot to the grocery store to grab Y/n's favourite crisps and drink and i grab some snacks for myself and i head back home and as i walk in the front door i see Y/n sat on the kitchen counter talking to Sarah in her dark blue sweatpants and a white crop top and she has taken her make up off and her hair is still the way it were at the meal and i give her a soft smile and she smiles back.
I head to my room and i get out of my suit and i put some sweatpants and a top on and i leave my door open so i can see when Y/n comes up and i see Sarah walk past and heads to her room. A few minutes later I hear Y/n walk up the stairs and she walks in my room and i hand her the snacks i bought for her and she closes my bedroom door behind her and we open my balcony doors and we head to the roof.
"How was your birthday Y/n?" I say as we sit down in our spot "it was good thank you but your girlfriend is a bitch Rafe" she says as she opens her snacks "ouch Y/n that hurt" i say in a joke way and pretends that it really hurt me but I know she is right and she laughs and hits me in a flirty way "you went back to JJ when he was a dick to you" i say looking at her "ik he was but he seemed different but I'm speaking to him later i think he likes Nellie i saw the way he looked at her when she walked in the room" she says laying her head on my shoulder and i hold her "speak to him now" i say to her and she pulls out her phone and messages JJ.
Y/N POV
On messages
JJ
Y/n: JJ we need to talk
JJ: whats up?
Y/n: do you like Nellie?
JJ: what are you talking about
Y/n: i saw the way you looked at her when she walked in the room
JJ: your crazy Y/n
Y/n: just leave it then
Off messages
I notice JJ is being off and i have that gut feeling again that something is off about him and i just stuffed my face with my crisp and i look at Rafe and he looks at me and then our lips meet but we both stop each other and he tells me to stay in his room tonight and we get down off the roof and i get into Rafe's bed and i kiss his forehead and i fall asleep but Rafe was all that's on my mind and ive only just realised I'm in love with Rafe.
