Chapter 38

*a few months later
Today is Y/n's 20th Birthday
JJ and Y/n are still together and Rafe still has strong feelings for Y/n but has been hooking up with a girl called Nellie just so he forgets about Y/n but every night she is all he could think about
Now what will happen at the family meal well read and find out*

Y/N POV:

I wake up to the sound of my mum walking in my room singing Happy Birthday with Sarah,Ward, Rafe and Wheezie all behind her singing as well and as i blow out the big 20 i give everyone a soft smile and they all hand me presents and they were all gifts i have dreamed of getting (Gucci bag, LV heels, MacBook and more). I thank everyone before i grab my phone and see everyone and see the whole pogue group chat has blow my phone up wishing me happy birthday and Sarah told me to come to her room but have a shower before i do and i do exactly what she says and after i wash my hair and body i walk out my room with towels around me walking to Sarah's room and i bump into Rafe.

"My bad sorry Rafe" i say holding my towel tight so it doesn't reveal my naked body "better watch that towel Y/n and Happy Birthday" he says as we part and i walk into Sarah's room and she has loads of dresses laying on her bed "pick one to wear for tonight" she demands "i want to wear this silk pink one" i say before sitting down and drying my hair and Sarah helps me as she must of gotten up this morning  and she helps straight my hair and does my makeup which takes hours to do then i check my phone and see it's almost 4;30pm and i put my dress and LV heels on and i grab my Gucci bag to put my phone in and i hear Ward shout me and Sarah down.

As i walk down the stairs my eyes immediately lock with Rafe and then i notice JJ is there as well and i see Rafe's girl Nellie kiss him on his check but he doesn't stop taking his eyes off me but i had to break it up and look at JJ and i give him a kiss "you look stunning Y/n" he says giving me a kiss back and i ask where we are going "going for a meal for your birthday Y/n where else" Wheezie says.

I get in the car and i sit next to Nellie and JJ and i can't stand Nellie at all she just hates me and she always wants to be all over Rafe when I'm around but when it's just her and Rafe they argue 24/7 it's so annoying if I'm being honest. We arrive at the Italian restaurant and we sit down at a big table and i sit at the end with balloons coming off the chair and JJ sits at one side and Rafe at the other with Nellie next to him and we all order and we are all just talking but i feel someone's leg touch mine and they don't move it then I realise it's Rafe's leg and i know he knows because he looks up at me and smiles when JJ and Nellie wasn't looking.

*After the meal*
We all get up to leave the restaurant  and far in front of me i see Nellie and Rafe arguing and of course she has to ruin my birthday meal the bitch and JJ heads home with John B as Sarah invited everyone but only JJ and John B were free and JJ gives me a kiss goodbye and i was walking alone at the back as Sarah went with them.

I could just about see after drinking a far bit and i notice Rafe walking towards me "what's up?" I ask as he got closer "Nellie thinks there is something going on between us" he says and deep down i do have feelings for him but i don't know how he feels anymore "but there isn't" i say " i know but she thinks there is and i hate the arguing all the time it's so draining" he says in a sad tone "when we get home we will talk on the roof not done that in a while" i say giving him a smile and getting in the car to head back home.
