Thanks for being so patient! My iPad stopped working so I had to go and get it fixed. Hence why I wasn't able to updaete on time as promised.

Bani walked up the path to Veer's front door and looked around in awe. She knew that he was rich, but didn't realize until now just how rich his family actually was. His home had to be atleast five times the size of hers, and that wasn't including the large yard at the front and back. She looked behind her to see the security guards walking around the estate with headphones on and sticks in their hands appearing as if they had come out of a Matrix movie. Yeh toh aise act kar rahe hai jaise yeh koi badhe mantri ka gharr hai. It's just the Singhania's for god's sakes. Bani sighed and turned around to ring the door bell but before she could, the door swung open. Oh hi! Bani right? Ponky smiled and asked her with his mouth full of apple. Ugh...ha...Bani...Is Veer home? Bani asked nervously. She looked at this guy head to toe and knew for sure from his flashy outfit that he's a Singhania. Ponky stood there with hot pink sweat pants with random strips of denim all around, one leg was pulled up to his knee possibly to show off his tacky dragon tattoo, and as if that wasn't enough, he was also wearing a neon-green baggy t-shirt that had holes and safety pins scattered about on it. Bani thought that Veer's outfits were too much, but at least he knew which colours were appropriate to wear and didn't overdo it with the distressed look. And she hated to admit that no matter what Veer wore, he looked handsome. Oh yeah! Actually tumaari photo dekhi maine! Ponky the idiot reached forward and gave her a hug. Bani stepped back slightly and asked Photo? Tumne kabh dekhi meri photo? Ek minute...Veer ne to nahi dikhaayi? She was so confused. Was Veer going around and showing her picture to people, and why? Does he...does he like me?

Ponky thought for a second, and then threw his apple core way off into the distance behind Bani. Bani turned her head to see the apple core now in the center of their front garden and a couple crows gathering around it. Ponky wiped his hand on his shirt and laughed Veer bhai? I feel ke maine tumaari koi dost ko date kiya hoga...oh yeah tumaari koi hot friend hai kya? I have an event to go to aur muje koi hot date chahiye. Bani looked at Ponky in disbelief. How stupid could one get? First of all he was acting so casual about the fact that his brother rejected her, and on top of that he was asking her to just tell him about any of her friends so he could use them as eye candy?! Tum...tum sach mein Veer ke hi bhai ho. Seriously ek Manav hi hai jo- before Bani could finish her sentence, Nikhil came running up behind Ponky and smacked the back of his head. Oye! You idiot! Tumne Payal ko kya kaha?! Uske wrinkles aane lage and her fertility clock is ticking now? She's just two years older than you! Tum toh aise act karr rahe ho ke voh 27 ki nahi 57 ki hone wali hai! Ponky rubbed his head and then quickly made a run for it down the hallway. Nikhil stood there and was about to run after Ponky, but then turned around as he sensed someone standing at the door. Excuse me? I'm sorry...maine aapko dekha nahin. Aap? Bani cleared her throat, and said I'm Bani...muje Veer ne bulaaya. Right when he heard the name Bani Nikhil smiled wide and moved to the side to let her in. Veer and Nikhil were close since they were kids and more like brothers and best friends than cousins. Nikhil was Madhu's older sister's son and had been living with the Singhania's for a couple years now because his college was closer to their house and he was learning the business with his massar, Raj Singhania. Nikhil could always tell when Veer has a crush on someone, so when he heard. the name Bani he knew right away this is the girl who's made his cousin go from checking out every girl he sees to being glued to looking at one profile in particular on his Instagram.
