Also, there's so many characters in this book that it's hard to give them all an equal amount of screen time. So please if there are characters who haven't been talked about much at the wedding then just pretend that they were there too lol

Veer tumaare gharr parr bhi pooja hogi na shaadi se pehle? Bani asked. Veer's eyebrows pushed together into a small v as he thought about her question. They had been on the phone for the last thirty minutes now, discussing everything from how annoying their families were being at the moment to when they'd go on their honeymoon. Veeranshu? Bani whispered. She heard a sigh on the phone and smiled. Although he hated hearing that name, he was getting used to her calling him that. He knew it was out of fondness, and truth be told he actually found it quite endearing. Sweetheart shayad hogi...Bani...I can't wait any longer. Kabh shaadi ka din hoga aur kabh tum mere bed parr behti hogi apne lehnge mein...tume excitement nahi horahi? She could feel his voice drop at the last part. Of course ho rahi hai...mere andar toh Mrs. Veeranshu Singhania bane ka excitement khoot khoot ke bharra hai. But I am nervous...sabh ke saamne phere lena...voh saree rasme...aur voh pandit bhi kitni jaldi jaldi bolte hai. At that comment Veer burst out into laughter. Bani chuckled as well. Acha sweetheart abh main jaata hoon. Mom bulaarahi hai...I can't wait to see you tomorrow at 10 pm for our shaadi gharwali. Bani pouted while twirling the strings of her lehnga as it sat on her lap. She had been adjusting the waist for the last half hour and rubbed it in Veer's face that in fact she's lost weight since the last time she wore it. Hmm. Talk to you soon Veer. Veer smiled and replied back Pakkah muje selfie bejna. I'm missing that adorable face of yours. After they hung up Bani held the lehnga up to her waist and wondered if she should do an outfit change. She was about to step into her closet to check what other old designs she had laying about when her younger brother walked in.

Di. What time do I need to go get the haldi fromm jiju's? He asked as he tossed his bum onto her bed. Bani looked over at her brother and rolled her eyes at how forgetful he is. Idiot. Already theen bhaar pooch chake ho. Maine kahaan na? Chaar baje sabh muje haldi lagaayenge toh tum vaahan atleast theen baje paunch jaana. Aur ha...jitna bi koi tume kahe tum vaahan behto ge nahi. We need to do the haldi on time kyunke bhaad mein mere maama maami aarahe hai Delhi se and I don't want to keep them waiting for the choora ceremony. Sabh kuch time parr hona chaahiye. Okay? Now repeat back everything I just said. Armaan eyed the mess around her room and muttered back her directions. Okay di fir main Yash bhai ke saath challa jhaata hoon. You know I hate driving your car aur dad subah se pattah nuy kya kya khareedne challe gaye. Bani turned around in a hurry and shook her head. No! Yash nahi...voh toh tumse badda idiot hai. Armaan's eyes narrowed slightly in suspicion but Bani quickly diverted his mind by tossing him a pack of jelly-beans. Ye lo. Tumaara inaam. Okay now get out. I have to change. After he walked out, Bani closed the door behind him and stood against it sighing in relief. Thank god...aggar voh Yash challa jhaata aur Veer usko dekh leta toh aaj pakkah koi na koi khaand ho jaata. Her main concern was Veer doing anything untoward Yash, not out of sisterly love, but out of love for Veer and not wanting him to have his reputation ruined over a spineless bastard such as Yash. However, there was something that Bani never would have seen coming. She knew that Yash was evil, but never pinned him to be someone who would hurt someone physically. Little did she know that across the house Yash was sitting on google finding ways to ruin Bani's haldi ceremony.

One hour later Bani had just finished doing her makeup and was sitting in her bedroom with her friends and female cousins. Anjali tumein kuch nuy pattah. Veer itna toh handsome lagta hai iss photo mein? Abh mera phone do muje. She quickly grabbed the phone out of Anjali's hands in fear that Veer would send her a risky text. As if on cue, she got a notification. Bani looked around at the other girls running about still doing their hair and makeup and trying on different jewlery to match their outfits. It was the perfect opportunity to talk to Veer in peace so she quietly made her way to her terrace and shut the door behind her. Unfortunately, because Veer's mom said they can't see each other that included face time calls so they were stuck with just voice calls or texting.
