Bani looked at Veer's expression as she walked towards his car that afternoon. Yeh muje aise kyun dekh raha hai jaise isne ek bhoot dekha. Kitna ajeeb ladka hai yeh. She muttered under her breath and opened the car door. When she sat down and put her seatbelt on she said Jaldi karro. Muje bauhat kaam hai. Her voice laced with annoyance. Veer just looked at her outfit with his mouth slightly ajar, still in shock. After a few seconds of silence, Bani sighed and turned her head to see what's gotten into him. Abh gaadi start bhi karro?! Muje...muje aise kyun dekh rahe ho. Veer stuttered with his eyes still fixated on her dress. Yeh...yeh...tumne kya pehena hai? Bani looked down at her outfit and shrugged her shoulders in confusion. Matlab? Dress pehni hai...kyun? He reached his hand towards the hem of her dress to feel the material but Bani smacked his hand away and glared at him. Yeh kya karr rahe ho tum?! Mere fiance...I mean just because humaari shaadi hone vaali hai iska yeh matlab nahi ke tum aisi harkate karsakte ho mere saath. Veer shook his head about to apologize but then thought not to. He needed to get her out of that dress and into another one if he was going to spend the next hour or so with her. I...I...whatever. Bani...go change. Yeh dress tum nahi pehn sakti. Main wait karta hoon. He quickly said and looked straight ahead hoping and praying that for once she'd not be in her ziddi Bani Sharma mode and just do as she was asked.

She chuckled at his request and raised her eyebrow in disbelief that he thinks so highly of himself that he believes he could now dictate what she wears. Oh. Toh yeh bhaat hai. I should've known keh tum misogynistic ho aur muje apni pairon ki jhooti samjo ge. Lekin main bhi iss zamaane ki ladki hoon. You have no right to tell me what to wear. I'm not changing. She said stubbornly. Veer took a deep breath in, mentally counting to five, and closed his eyes. Please Bani. Just...just go change. Anything but that dress. Bani crossed her arms and turned the radio on, blasting the volume. Veer looked in her direction and couldn't help but find her so incredibly sexy right now. She had her right leg over her left, caramel legs peeking through the slit of her dress, arms crossed across her waist tight enough to push her breasts up, and she was squinting and flaring her nostrils as she looked straight ahead. Bani tum...tum itni ziddi kyun ho? It's not what you think. Main- Right when Bani was about to scream at Veer at the top of her lungs her dad came running up to the car with a bowl in his hand. For once Bani was annoyed with her dad and his need to be so friendly to everyone. He smiled wide and came to Veer's window, tapping on it gently. Don't open it. Bani thought she said in her head but in fact she had actually blurted it out. Veer turned his head to look at his future wife, the girl who stole his heart right when he laid eyes on her, and shook his head as he laughed at her cuteness. Bani he's your dad. Dekhne toh do uncle kya kehna chahte hai. He opened the window and folded his hands in a namaste but Bani's dad gave him a fist bump and Bani a loser sign which only made her more annoyed.
