Summary: The ball happens. Again. This time, the two couples have a great time dancing. Meanwhile Lucius' threat hangs over Draco and while he tries to find Harry, he shows up to watch over his son. When Draco and Harry escape to the Astronomy Tower, a fight commences.

Blaise and Pansy stood in their dim Common Room and looked at each other with perplexed faces. In front of them their friend Draco Malfoy was mindlessly talking about... something- he talked too fast for anyone to comprehend what he was even saying.

"And stupid Potter is going to be there and with Father's threat and... ahh!" was all the two understood, but it was enough information to get the idea.

"So that's why you don't want to go to the ball!" Pansy exclaimed.

"You're trying to avoid Harry?"

"Yes! But my damn father somehow brainwashed those useless into creating this Part 2 Ball Fiasco! Draco explained slightly slower than before.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Pansy asked.

"No it's not!"

"Wouldn't that be a good time to confess?" Blaise teased as Pansy nodded along like a maniac.

Draco thought about this. It would be... if my father isn't a literal psychopath! Who knows what he'll do if he finds out the guy I kissed was Saint Potter!"

"Oh yeah? What is he going to do? Kill him?"

"Precisely."

"No he won't!"

"Just why though? There isn't a good enough reason to do so," Blaise pointed out.

"I don't know. I just know Potter can't be seen by him," Draco sighed out.

Harry adjusted the collar of his cape at the dim reflection of the picture frame in the Gryffindor Common Room and ran his fingers through the birdnest of hair as Ron and Hermione walked in.

"Someone seems eager for the ball," Ron greeted. Harry immediately stopped and spun around. "Is there a special someone?" he added as he noticed his friends' sudden reaction.

As he thought he was going to make Harry confess, said boy looked up confidently.

"They said they're taking pictures, right? Just trying to look my best."

Ron and Hermione looked unimpressed at the remark. "The ball is taking place in two days, Harry," Hermione announced. "There's no need to rush and prepare today."

"I just want to make sure my suit still fits!" Harry exclaimed, tugging on one of the cuffs for emphasis.

Ron and Hermione shared a look of agreed acknowledgment.

"Alright..." Hermione breathed, winking at Ron with a knowing smile.

"Stop with your eye talking." The two glanced at each other again and burst into laughter, and as Ron doubled over coughing, Nevile rushed in calling them.

"Hermione! Ron! The Slytherins are waiting for you outside. I don't know why though..."

Ron composed himself and apologized to Harry for their sudden leaving.

"Oh, that's alright. But what are you guys doing? Can I join?"

"Harry..." Hermione started awkwardly.

"Listen mate. We're going on a double date." Ron cut in, and immediately received a hit to the head. "What?"

"Oh... Alright then. Wow, you guys are so ahead of me..."
