How could I forget? He informed me before that he'll take me out to dinner tonight. It was so busy at the office today that my bones are tired. I haven't been home for a few minutes when the doorbell rang. I'm still in my office attire when I opened the door to let him in.
"I'm sorry. I forgot. I should've put a reminder on my phone." I apologized, checking the time.
"Did you say it's for seven o'clock?" There's still time, then. I could change quickly.
He squinted as he looked me over. I'm sure I didn't look good, probably haggard.
"We can cancel it. You look tired."
I sighed as I admitted it. I talked about the latest project we are working on. I didn't give him the confidential details, though. I still remember.
"I can order pizza and chicken. Don't you mind eating here instead?" I offered. I'm not sure which restaurant he reserved for tonight.
"Sure, that's fine." He looked a bit doubtful, though.
"Or I can change my clothes and we can go?" I offered, still torn about not being able to go.
"Let's stay here." He pulled me towards the couch. I sat down to order the food.
"Do you like spicy food?" I asked, I haven't really paid much attention to what he likes to eat.
"I can." His answer is weird so I stared at him.
He shrugged, "I can eat anything. I don't have anything I particularly like."
My eyes widened at his statement. How can you not have anything you particularly like?
"Don't you enjoy eating?" I asked, curious what his answer will be.
"I do. I enjoy anything tasty. As long as there's salt, it's bound to be tasty, no?" He explained and I realized he's got peculiar taste. Salt, huh?
"I enjoy other things, too." He added as he leaned down to prop his chin on my shoulder. I ignored him and focused on finishing my order.
I shrieked when he licked my skin. It tickled so bad. He had his arms around me before I knew about it. I pushed his face off my shoulder.
"What are you doing?" I hissed, keeping his face away.
"Alright, alright... I won't do it again." He promised and I huffed before taking my hands off his face. He grinned.
"Why don't you lie down first?" He touched my face and I glared when his fingers touched the underside of my eyes. I exhaled before I leaned against him, hugging his waist. It feels nice to sleep next to him.
