It wasn't very creative. This tactic has been discussed in passing between me and my siblings. I know what to do.
I attended a social event that a current client invited me to. It was a weekday night. Normally, I focus on work during the weekdays.
Maybe I should've been more careful, but it has never crossed my mind that it would happen.
I lost my consciousness. That much I know. There wasn't anything that happened except me falling asleep. The drug was very potent. It hadn't taken more than five minutes before I started feeling drowsy. When I opened my eyes the next morning and saw the woman on the bed with me, I had a rough idea on what the plan was. I tried to control my anger.
While dressing, Cindy woke up. She tried seduction by putting the blanket aside and showing her naked body. When I didn't bother looking at her, she stood and walked towards me. I threw a glare in her direction but that didn't seem to deter her. She continued and I had to keep pushing her hands away to button my shirt properly.
That was when there was a knock on the door. I frowned at the door, then at Cindy when she showed me a bright smile while walking towards it, still naked. I swallowed hard. They're trying to stir a controversy. That much is clear.
"Come in." The dumb woman stated. She actually let someone in? After grabbing some of my stuff around the room, my phone and my wallet, I turned to get out of there. I paused when I saw it was Clara. I'm sure she wasn't looking forward to seeing her sister, but I clearly saw the change in her expression when our eyes met. She paled and her mouth opened. I threw another glare at Cindy as I strode towards Clara to take her out of there. I had to drag her out as she didn't seem capable of walking, her feet stuck on the ground.
Cindy's shrill voice followed us. "Where are you going, honey? Are you just going to leave me here after we spent the night together?" The accusation in her words made me so close to snapping. Clara gaped at her but I tugged her forward out of the room, into the hallway.
"Don't listen to her." I stated, a little afraid that she will truly misunderstand the situation. Her expression of fear and pain as she turned to look at me gripped my heart. She started pulling away, "Let go."
"Clara, don't misunderstand." I stated as I continued to drag her out.
My chest tightened as she started crying, "I said let go. Let me go."
I could've sworn to see Cindy's head out on the hallway as she sees her sister breaking apart. Her grin in this situation is irritating.
Clara continued to resist my hold on her, pulling my hand away from her wrist. I can't bear to see her like this.
"Listen to me. Let me explain." We really need to talk this out.
She tried harder until I finally let go. She couldn't even look at me as she wiped her tears away. She straightened and walked past me. I followed.
"Let me take you home." I stated. I know she misunderstood and she must be feeling terrible right now.
"Clara..." I called again and she walked faster.
"Don't talk to me. Leave me alone." She managed to say.
"We have to talk." I insisted.
"There's no need." She replied, her tone in anguish.
"Yes, we do. Listen to me." We finally managed to get out of the hotel, I noted the name. She was about to get inside her car when I pulled her by the waist.
"You can't go driving like this. Get on the other side." I still had to think of her safety.
She let out a frustrated noise as she walks away, hailing a taxi that was on its way. I didn't stop her. She didn't give a backward glance as she got inside and I watched her go.
I exhaled. First things first.
