Jade

Ever since I tuned thirteen I basically admired Reina.

She's confident , scary but yet gentle to the ones she loves, she's beautiful and just an amazing person.

I'm glad to call her my best friend.

I use to want to call her more than that, I had a crush on her since I was thirteen to sixteen.

But I had to push those feelings away because we grew up together and she see's me only as a bestfriend or family.

And if I liked her that would be weird, no matter how much she flirts.

I don't think she knows how much of a flirt she is, she flirts with almost every person she meets besides Jacob.

She flirts with girls but doesn't swing that way.

So I think she doesn't know she flirts.

"Hey you good? You been quiet almost the whole ride" she says to me as she drives.

"Yes I'm fine, just thinking?" I say with a smile.

I'm not the girl to get shy and is not confident.

I'm bold, but when I have feelings for someone and they make it hard not to like them I seem that way.

"What's got my best friends pretty little head thinking so hard" she says as she turns to look at me with her stupid beautiful smile.

You. "Nothing just thinking why someone would be stupid enough to be snooping around a Valentines property".

"Yea well they are stupid for sure" she scoffs.

"Alright we are here, now let's go" she says parking.

We get out and head to her office on the twenty-fifth floor.

The last floor.

"Hey boss, another check in?" One of her worker asks.

"Yes and no, just a small meeting with some business partners soon, let me know if you see someone lost" she says with a innocent smile.

"Yes boss" her worker says blushing.

"Thank you Lydia" she says walking away.

She really does have the affect on people.

Once we make it to her office Jacob jumps on the couch and sighs.

"Get your dirty ass shoes off my black couch" Reina says pushing his feet off.

"Asshole" he says.

"Dick" she says back.

"Stop it" Fallon says pointing at them.

She's kinda the mom in our group.

"Yes mom" Jacob and Reina say in sync and standing straight like a solider.

Me and Fallon roll our eyes at the two.

"So what , we just going to wait up here tell Lydia says something?" Fallon asks.

"No that's your job, open up your computer" Reina says walking to her seat behind a big table.

"So bossy" Jacob says.

"Shut up loser" Reina says as he kicks her feet up on the table.

"Jade , come sit" she says pointing to my chair next to her.

I do as she says and sigh.

"You seem tense and stressed, what's up?" She asks.

"I don't know just feeling stressed lately" I say truthfully.

"Want me to play with your hair? I know it relaxes you" she says concerned.

I smile and nod.

"Alright turn around" she says.

She starts playing with my hair making me take a big breath in and out.

"You need to stop stressing , I can't have my bestfriend passing out or something" she says seriously.

"I know just can't help it when your in the mafia, how aren't you stressed and your the leader?" I ask.

"I do be stressed sometimes but I take it out on a punching bag or getting laid, maybe you should try that instead of vaping" she says.

"Yea maybe".

And maybe getting laid will help other things too.

"Do you have any waters?" Jacob asks.

"Yea check over there by the fridge , just got some" she says.

"Reina, when are you going to settle down and stop having one night stands?" Fallon asks.

She scoffs "when animals start talking, you know I don't date".

"Yea but" before she could say anything Jacob coughs and gives her a look.

"What?" She asks him.

"You know she's going to get mad when you ask her about her love life" Jacob says.

"I don't get mad" Reina says.

"Yes you do" us three say at the same time.

Reina scoffs "whatever you losers".

"Reina someone's walking in the hotel with a black hoodie" Fallon says quickly making us get up and go towards her.

"Is that him?" I ask as we all look at the screen.

"Yup, I've been watching him so I recognize the walking movements and what he wears , he wears the same thing all the time" she says.

"Jacob grab your hand gun and go to the front desk but don't get noticed, Fallon keep eyes on all security cameras and talk with me through the ear pieces and Jade follow me but stay behind a little and watch my back just in case he brought back up" she tells us.

"Yes boss" we say and do as what we are told.

As we all get in our spots Reina walks up to the guys who's watching around looking for something.

We all have our ear pieces in so we can hear what she says.

"Excuse me, is there something I can help you with you look lost" she says politely.

"He has a gun in his waist band" Jacob says through ear piece.

"Shit" I say to myself.

"Yes actually I'm looking for the owner" the man says confidently.

"Your talking to her" Reina says grabbing her gun from her waist band just in case.

Before we know it Reina is getting shoved in the elevator and going up.

He grabs me by the throat and pushes to the wall.

"Normally I'd be turned on but considering your trynna kill me , your making a big mistake bud" I say then kicking him in his dick.

"Damn it" he groans.

I put my heels at his throat just a couple inches above.

"Who you working for?" I demandingly ask.

"None of your damn business you bitch" he groans still in pain.

I put my heel a little closer "why you after me, and if you don't say I will not hesitate to step my heel into your throat".

"I'm here to send a message" he says almost immediately.

"Go on" I say.

"He says to watch your back princess because he is coming for you and only you" he spits out.

I hum "I'm not even gonna ask who considering you won't say who your working for, but tell him I'm not going to be taking his little threat seriously if he's to pussy to come to me himself, tell him to grow a pair and find me".

The elevator dings opening up.

"Going down? Have a good rest of your day" I say with a fake smile and push lobby.
