"Damn Volkov , got a nice mansion" I say as I admire the house we just pulled up to.

"Uh thanks" he said awkwardly.

"Alright go get y'all's stuff I'm going to help Alina, and you know bond" I say with a smile as I link arms with her making her gulp.

"Don't be scared Alina, I'm not going to hurt but even I wanted to I doubt I'd be able to with how skilled you are" I say making her turn her head at me confused as we walk into the house and she leads me to her room

"Oh I meant I've done a little research on you last night, just to make my best friend wasn't in any arm but if you guys were to go any further than fooling around I think she will be in good hands" I say seriously as we come to a door and she opens it.

"Wait really?" She asks.

"Yea, nice bedroom by the way" I say looking around.

"Uh thanks, but why are you being so uh nice?" She asks as she starts packing.

"Well I'm not a complete bitch , but even if your my enemy's friend and my bestfriend is taking an interest in you I thought why not try to get along plus it's not like you've done something to me anyway" I sigh as I sit on her bed.

"Plus the last few weeks I feel like I've been a complete dick to her and I hate making her cry and shit" I say.

"I can see why she liked you" she says zipping you a suitcase.

"She told you about me before we've met?" I ask as I start helping pack her other things.

"Not much but she told me she liked her bestfriend and a couple reasons why" she shrugs.

I hum.

"Oh my god Alina" I say with a smirk.

"Oh god" she says going red.

"You so have to bring this for Jade" I say walking towards holding the blue and black lingerie.

"No , no way" she says.

"Yes Alina , she would go crazy if she saw you in that" I say as I put it in her bag.

"Thanks" she says with a smile as she is still blushing.

"Of course but now that your done go ahead and put your stuff in the black SUV and Jacob should be out front, have fun girl" I say exiting her room as I get a ding.

Santi: hey, in town and have some information about the English.

Me: thanks santi, come by in the morning for a meeting with me and the russian leader.

As I put my phone away I look up to see the other petrov.

"Hey Alekski, can I call you alek?" I ask as we walk down stairs.

"Uh sure" he says looking at me.

"So we never actually talked before , but I'm wanna get to know you guys more" I say.

"But why ? After this alliance we won't see each other again, in fact you'll have a bullet in your head once it's over" he says coldly.

"Do you not like me?" I ask.

"No, in fact I don't trust you" he says.

"I mean makes sense but I'm not going to do anything against the alliance Alek, I'm trying to save my people and yours now that we're in this together" I say as we stop by the front door.

"No your doing this for you, you don't care who dies and who doesn't" he mutters.

"Okay I may be ruthless but I still have a heart" I say.

"I'm sure you do, deep deep down" he says walking away.

"Everything okay?" Nikolai asks bluntly.

"Yea peachy, I think Alekski doesn't like me very much" I chuckle.

"He's closed off" he says.

"I can see that, but is everyone ready to go?" I ask as we walk out.

"Yup our stuff are in the two SUVS and everyone else in their cars" he says as we walk towards mine.

"Alright then lets go" I say.

"I still don't get why I had to come with you" he groans as we get in.

"Stop complaining , plus I wanted to talk to you" I say.

"About?" He asks.

But before I could say what about my phone rings.

"Hey fallon , what's up?" I ask.

"Reina what car did you take!" She asks.

"Um my white audi , why?"

"BECAUSE THEY PUT A BO-".

But before she could finish the next thing I know is we're fucking flying, and I mean the car just exploded.

Making me and Nikolai fly out and land on the road.

"Son of a bitch" I groan as I'm in so much pain.

I look up to see my car in pieces and on fire.

I look over to find Nikolai but I can't see him.

"MS.VALENTINE!" I hear one of my men say from a couple feet back.

"BOSS" Levi shouts.

I look over to see him passed out in whatever is left of the car with fire on it.

"Shit" I say forcing myself up.

I try running to him but I limp.

"Come on fat ass" I say pulling him out before the rest of the car goes up into flames.

"Come on you son of a bitch, wake your ass up" I say before passing out on top of him.

"LEVI CALL 911! ONE OF YOU GUYS CALL HER PARENTS" I shout at Levi and her men.

I pull each of them further away from the scene so they don't in hale to much smoke that was around them.

For fuck sake.

"Her parents will meet us at the hospital" one her men say and I nod.

"The ambulance is on there way also" Levi says.

Maybe I was wrong about her, she just pulled my best friend, my boss out of a burning car while she was hurt.

"I hear the sirens, everyone else head back to the her mansion so you guys don't get questioned" Levi says to her men.

"Levi! I don't think there breathing" I say as I feel no pulse and don't see their stomachs going up and down.
