--It was unbelievably stealthy. The way in which they slowly piled into the castle as if normal civilians. Ryujin kept her hood up, in the back while Yeji slipped elsewhere.
That's when it began, all of them, red eyes and sais outstretched while clones upon clones fought. Warriors didn't have enough time to prepare and one by one blue eyes were on their knees either surrendering, or being killed.
Yeji was off within the castle, looking for the armory. She was quick with killing, silent too. Bodies left in a trail where she went. Though, when she got in, hopping on a beam above an outnumbering amount of warriors, she sighed. How would she get through all of them? She started to strategize, finding a way in her mind that would be successful as long as she wasn't found out any time soon.
But, then the worst happened.
"There's an Illusionist up there! Kill her!" Yeji heard, turning to see Felix at the doors, smiling evily and slamming them closed. As if on que, Yeji turned back, pairs of angry blue eyes staring at her.
She panicked, there had to be atleast thirty people. She prayed, swinging from beam to beam, cloning herself and knocking a few down. But soon she was left up on the wood, knives being thrown at her with unbelievably bad precision. But, if she moved much she could become wounded. Her arm was already sliced on the side, and just by slightly peaking out her cheek was as well.
Her heart was beating so fast, and everytime she cloned herself and leaped she was stabbed instantly. She didn't have much time, what was she to do?
Meanwhile, the whole outside of the royal quarters of the castle was under illusionist control. Ryujin barley had to do much work, her presence enough to make some kneel. To submit. But, she couldn't help but wonder where Yeji was. Everyone else was curious too, confused. She was supposed to have been out with the king by now.
"Do you think?" Yuna said, eyes wide with the unlikely probability.
"No no, that's Yeji you're talking about." Lia said, having come along anyway even though she wasn't much of a fighter.
Ryujin turned back, staring at the large doors. She looked a little longer, about to look away but then she saw Felix, just around the corner to the left and trotting away.
"I'm going in." Ryujin said, running as fast as she could. The possibility that Yeji was in trouble because of him made her rage intensely. So she ran, and ran, and kicked through the door and running further into the castle past the dead bodies.
Eventually she found a pair of large closed doors, the sound of angry men hollering from the inside. She didn't wait, kicking once and finding nothing happening.
Yeji heard the kicks from the inside, and so did the mob. All of them turned their attention getting ready to throw as soon as the doors flung open.
Yeji knew who was out there, seeing a faint bit of purple from under the crack. She jumped down, screaming just as the doors flung open.
Ryujin's eyes widened, Yeji's body falling into her as blades punctured the brunette's body. Red. So much red, not just from her dying flame but the blood inking her fabric.
It was like slow motion, the way Yeji's tears fell and her body flopped onto the ground, the mob's weapons buried in her body. She could've done anything at all, duplicated herself, caused a vision to make them confused. But all she could think about was protecting Ryujin. As if instinctual, so that's what she did.
Ryujin didn't let a single one live, made them pay. Watched them scream in pain as she drained the life out of them, like a poison inside their veins, slithering and killing.
