A loud knock and a slight bark catches Drift's attention as he lays on his couch tossing a ball into the air and catching it. He catches it one more time and looks over at door and sees a letter slide through his letter slot. Sarah walks over to the letter before picking it up and carrying it over to Drift. He takes it from her with a smile, but not before giving her a scratch on her crown.

Drift: Thanks, Sarah.

He opens the envelope and sees a letter. He pulls it out and opens it before reading it out loud.

Drift: Dear Drift, as the world's greatest detective and your fellow idol, I humbly ask you to come to the alleyway behind KFP to use your case ticket that I've provided with this letter. - Amelia Watson

Drift looks in the envelope and spots a slip of paper the size of a dollar bill. It's tannish yellow in color and says "Case!" on it with a small picture of a dog in a hat and a small Amelia. He knew the dog is Amelia's mascot and real pet, Bubba, and the art was similar to what the Internet affectionately dubbed, Smol Ame.

Drift: Whaddya say, Sarah, ready for adventure?

She clicks in response and compresses her plates making her small enough to fit into Drift's bag. He scoops it up and put it over his shoulder before leaving the house. He takes a deep breath as he places a pair of sunglasses on his face. His veins glow hot pink as he smirks and blasts off. He dashes across rooftops until he reaches KFP. He slides to a stop on the roof and hops into the alleyway behind the building.

Drift: I should get a car. If I keep doing that I'll eventually get caught.

He shrugs and looks around for where he's supposed to use his case ticket. Suddenly a yellow light catches his attention, so he turns and sees a machine that looks like a phone booth with the letters "W.A." on the top of the door. He walks in while keeping his back bent in an uncomfortable position just to fit inside. Once inside, he sees one side of the machine has what looks like a slot that vending machines have to take dollar bills. He puts his ticket to the slot and it takes it. The machine then makes a slight ding like an elevator before the entire wall the machine is attached to turns around completely before dinging again. Drift opens the door now finding himself inside an office. He steps out of the machine and the wall turns around behind him leaving him inside with no noticable exit other than a door with a frosted glass window. Black letters are on the window, and although from his perspective they're backwards, Drift reads them.

Drift: "Amelia Watson: Detective for Mythological Cases. EST. ∞" Damn.

A small pulse travels up his body before he sniffs the air and catches a slight scent of butterscotch.

Drift: It's dangerous to sneak up on people like me, Ame.

He turns around and sees her sitting on her desk even though she wasn't in the room a moment ago.

Drift: Stopping time for some dramatic entrance doesn't seem very responsible, Detective.

Amelia: And what makes you think I stopped time? Maybe you're just that clueless, Big Guy.

Drift smirks and suddenly disappears from Amelia's view. She gasps as he taps her shoulder making her turn around quickly.

Drift: Because I felt it.

Amelia: How did-

Drift: I can pick up on energy signatures and copy them.

Amelia: So you can stop time now?

Drift: Not exactly. It's not something I'll be able to keep ahold of. The signature will fade when I fall asleep, but until then...

He is suddenly back where he was originally standing making Amelia turn around to see him.
