Chapter 12

(I was waiting for Cruder to get done with his part of the crossover, but he's going through writer's block. He did give me the abridged plot points he had written down, so I could continue. Sorry for being gone so long I had a series of personal issues that I don't want to dwell on any longer. Please enjoy.)

After the sudden destruction, evacuation, and then repair of the Cover Corps building, Yagoo decided that the best course of action was to claim that the internet was down canceling all streams and giving everyone the rest of today and tomorrow off. By now the only ones left in the building were Omegaα and Holomyth who are chilling on the lobby furniture waiting for Drift to come back. Calli pokes her once broken rib surprised at the lack of pain.

Amelia: You okay?

Calli: That C guy broke four ribs with the flick of a finger. At least he healed me before he left.

Omegaα: He healed everyone and replenished our stamina. Power like his shouldn't be trifled with.

Gura: And Drift walked right through his power!

Ina: Maybe, but it obviously winded him or C wouldn't have been able to punch a hole through him.

Kiara: This whole thing was just so crazy! Speaking of Liebe when do you think he-

Suddenly a portal opens and Drift falls through landing on the floor with a thud. He sits up as the portal closes and looks at everyone.

Drift: That shit was crazy! I fought dragons! Like actually Western style dragons!

Amelia: What happened to your shirt?

Drift: Caught on fire! It was awesome! I fought with C's kids and then I got eaten by the matriarch, but I blew her up by shooting a bolt of lightning down her throat and into me!

Gura: Is that why you smell so bad?

Drift: Yes! Check this out! So she had rainbow scales and before leaving I managed to snag six of them. I got a blue one.

He opens his bag and pulls out a blue scale a little over fifteen centimeters. He hands it to Gura and she takes it.

Drift: Also a purple, orange, yellow, red, and pink.

He passes Kiara the orange, Ina the purple, Amelia the yellow, and Calli the red. They all look at the scales turning them revealing a black underside. Drift places the pink one back in his bag as Sarah pokes her head out with a click.

Amelia: Wasn't C supposed to come back with you?

Drift: He had some important family matters to deal with, but he gave me some weird phone thing.

He pulls out the device and tosses it to Amelia. She pockets it and sighs.

Amelia: I suppose I'll get in touch with him later. Glad you're okay Big Guy.

Drift: Of course I am. I'm no pushover.

He lifts the front of his hair out of his eyes spiking it up.

Calli: Your outfit is.

He looks down and sees his lack of shirt and the singed remains of his jacket tied around his waist.

Drift: I guess it's time for an upgrade. Clothes in the multiverse are way tougher than the rags you guys have here. I am impressed by the durability of the pants and backpack though.

Ina: You shouldn't be.

Drift turns to look at her and she gestures to the back of his pants. He moves his backpack and sees the huge rip showing his gluteus maximus. He glows bright pink blinding everyone, but Kiara and Omegaα, and quickly leans against a wall blushing furiously as the glow lowers enough for the girls to see. His face is still bright pink and his ears are glowing, as everyone laughs at his predicament.
