2nd Person POV

What you and Camilo didn't know was that back at the house, Alma had a talk with Mirabel. Mirabel confessed her idea of inviting you to lunch, and Alma advised Mirabel to take this chance to change your mind about your living space.

Although Mirabel wanted to explain to her Abuela that she had misunderstood what she had said, she held back her words as Alma walked out of the kitchen.

Julieta awkwardly started to continue making lunch for her family in order to get Mirabel in spirits again. As Mirabel helped her out, Julieta assured her that she'd have plenty of time to help out tomorrow. It was Antonio's day, after all.

And this lifted Mirabel's spirits for sure.

Meanwhile, Camilo finally led you back to the house. He confidently opened the door and turned around. "You can come in, you know." He said. "Or would you rather wait for Mirabel?"

"I'll wait for Mirabel." You replied. "Thanks."

He nodded in response. "Mirabel!" Camilo then called out. "I've got your friend. Now where are my empanadas?" And just like that, he was gone.

Not that you minded. You were too busy looking at Casita in awe. You almost jumped when it looked like the house bent down to wave at you. Hesitantly, you waved back. And when you did, you instantly got the same vibe as you did when you first met Mirabel.

"(Y/n)!" Mirabel's voice called out.

Slowly, because you were still amazed at when you had seen, you turned to Mirabel. She had a bright smile plastered on her face. "Hey!"

You waved back at her, feeling more confident than you did before. "Hi."

Mirabel looked up at the fascinating house. "(Y/n), this is CasitaCasita, this is (Y/n). She'll be having lunch with us today!"

Casita shook its windows, and your confidence shrank back just a bit as you waved back at the building. Of course, you felt a little ridiculous for waving at a structure, but in a way, it was alive.

Mirabel gave you a quick tour of the house, before entering the kitchen. "I said I'd help my mom with preparing lunch." She told you.

"I'll help you." You offered and followed her. Very soon though, Alma came into the kitchen. "Mirabel?" She asked.

Mirabel looked very worried for a second before she exclaimed, "Oh sorry, Abuela. This is (Y/n). The girl who lives in that house we were talking about yesterday."

Alma stared at you for a moment before smiling. "Oh yes. I remember." She said. Then she walked up to you. You clutched the plates in your hands. Was it just you or was Casita's floor slightly shaking?

You kept your head straight and quickly glanced at the floor to see that indeed Casita's floor was rumbling. Weird. But you shrugged it off. Maybe Mirabel already knew about this. It's her home anyways.

"Are you staying for lunch?" Alma asked. You snapped out of your thoughts and nodded. "Wonderful." She stated.

But then she caught sight of the plates in your hands. She rapidly shot Mirabel an angered glare before looking at you. "Oh. You don't need to help set the table, dear. You're our guest." She said and trying to grab them.

You were about to give the plates to her but Casita rolled you over to where Mirabel was. Surprised, you took a moment to steady yourself before looking back up at Alma.

"It's alright, Senora. I'd like to help." You assured her. Alma looked at where Casita had moved you before smiling again. "Okay. If you insist." Alma said. "Just be careful with those." And with that, she left.
