Ariel's P.O.V
Like hell, I'm staying here. Luckily the manor's empty, making it easier to sneak out. I quickly make my way to Paisley square. Everything's in chaos. I spot Jerome heading towards a building, and I follow. "Quite the dilemma, Jim. You gonna let me fall and die? Or are you gonna pull me up and arrest me? What's it gonna be? Lawman or murderer?"
"What are you waiting for? Take his hand."
"Ah. Good ol' Gordon. Always playing by the rules. That's why I'll outlive you. That's why I'm loved 'cause I don't give a damn about the rules."
"It's a long way down. You sure you'll outlive me?"
"Oh, I'm sure 'cause I'm more than a man. I'm an idea, a philosophy. And I will live on in the shadows within Gotham's discontent."
"J, please don't do this. I'm begging you. You promised you would never leave me again. Please, take his damn hand." I beg. This is too much like my nightmare.
"I'm sorry, princess. Always remember I love you, make sure she knows that."
"Jerome take his hand, please. Don't leave me again. Please. Unless you want Jimbo taking care of our daughter." Jerome growls and takes Jimbo's hand. I knock Jim out and we make our escape.
"You weren't supposed to be here." His goons had stolen an ambulance, and are taking us somewhere of his choosing.
"I couldn't risk losing you, J."
"I can't stay mad at you princess."
"We're here boss."
"Come on princess, time to see our new home." We walk in hand in hand. "A mansion worthy of my queen."
"It's perfect."

"DADDY!" The black haired girl latches onto the ginger's leg.
"Why aren't you in bed?"
"I was waiting for you. You tell the best stories. Please?"
