CHAPTER 1

In a kingdom where a ruthless king rained, the report of the queen being with child produced optimism in the kingdom.

Their king's heart had reached ice-cold after four miscarriages.

He cursed all that the ancestors stood for. He could not figure out how he had carried all that he had, but they were incapable to present him with an heir.

Furthermore, he was resentful to deliver the kingdom to its Collapse.

He had turned into a selfish and particularly he and his bride were of impotence.

But the chosen and anointed is that and so is all they touch.

The kingdom was the wealthiest of all kingdoms plentiful in minerals, their field enriched with luscious produce everything your farm would grow with numerous springs gashing out of the ground this earth was exceedingly consecrated.

Yet the royal family had a curse to bear.

Night fell, this was the darkest night. All the moon seemed to have two black specks and was painted in blood-red.

A blood moon that has never happened before. The elders predicted this to be a calamity upon the land.

Meanwhile, the queen's water burst. She had never experienced labour before.

She was extremely anxious and contented than in agony. Wailing for help, a palace aide rushed to her aid but was fixed in awe.

Queen Imani: "why are you standing there? Bring the midwife"

Helper 1: "yes my queen"

The obstetrician arrived storming in with an attendant who had explained what she observed.

Midwife: "oh no... no..."

Queen Imani: "what seems to be the matter? "

Midwife: "my ruler you are merely 7 months. You are not expected to give birth and... and,"

she points at the water running from between the queen's legs

Queen Imani: "and what! She shrieks in anguish, "well he is here and ready to come so help me"

Midwife: "my queen I cannot serve you if the baby does not make it the king will behead me and by the presence of the colour of your water something is wrong"

The queen's eyes become glassy.

Queen Imani: "wrong... colour... no nothing is wrong"

Midwife: "I am sorry my queen" she turns to flee the chamber.

Queen Imani: "are you not the best obstetrician in the kingdom... if you leave here without delivering this baby, consider yourself deceased and your entire family"
