I watch with wide eyes,

So scared of the end,

Inevitable,

Inescapable,

Broken to the point which no one can mend.

Angels do not look down,

For only the devil watches me,

As he contemplates my end,

He watches me with glee.

Passing on is painful,

As is end itself,

But will the next life hold promise?

Only time can tell.
