When they entered the store, they were met by a cheeky witch with blonde hair and wide frame glasses. She seemed no older than her early twenties. "Can I help you witches find anything?" She asked.

"No thanks, were just looking." Ginny replied. They made their way to the many racks full of robes. Some were plain and had original colors, while other were elegant and exquisite. Once they had found the ones they thought suited best, they left and grabbed some lunch at the Three Broomsticks. After that, they headed home.

As the days went by and the week was closing to an end, Hermione had actually came to the conclusion that she was going to be an apprentice at Hogwarts! Under Snape's supervision. What a downer, she told herself constantly. But on the bright side, it berated working with Flitwick. And every time she thought of working with Snape, closely, she remained having that indifferent feeling and butterflies.

She didn't like them, and wondered if she could make them stop, but every time she tried to think of how much of a git he was to her and her friends, she was whisked back to the memory of her dancing with him.

As the week was closing to an end, it had already been Thursday evening. She knew she had to tell Ginny. 'Its now or never.' She told herself.

"Hey Gin?" She yelled. She was sitting at the kitchen table, drinking tea when Ginny came in.

"Whats up?" She asked in her toothy grin she always had. Hermione motioned for her to sit down. "Ugh oh, this can't be good." She said.

"I need to talk to you about something, and promise me you won't get mad."

"Okay, I promise." She said, skittishly.

"Okay, so you are aware that I did go to Hogwarts and I said I had a chat with McGonagall right?" She questioned.

"Mione, just get it out. What are you trying to say?" She asked with a look of worry on her face. Hermione took a deep breath.

"Well, the night we went to that club, I ran into someone." She paused, letting the moment sink in. "I ran into this someone and we had a discussion." She began to blush, it was actually more than a discussion, but she decided to spare Ginny of the image. "As we were talking, I was told there was a position, an apprenticeship actually, at Hogwarts."

"And?" Ginny asked, seeming a bit flustered.

"Well, I was offered an apprenticeship and I accepted." She let the news sink in.

"Wow" was all Ginny could say. "And why haven't you told me?" She asked a little hottly.

"Gin, I'm sorry, its just, you have been having such a great time with Cormac and I didn't want to take that away from you." She smiled sincerely. Ginny wasn't buying it.
