DOMINIQUE
Where am I?
My surrounding were completely pure white. I could not remember for the life of me figure out how I got here. As I looked around I saw a bench a few feet away. I figured I'd sit and gather my thoughts. To no avail my mind was completely blank, but I peep a figure in distances walking towards me. As it got towards me I made out that it was a small figure with a hood over their head no more.
"Hi" the greeted me as they sat down.
"Hi, what's your name??" I asked.
"Isaiah but my friends call me Zeke." he expressed but not looking at me. I began to obvious the little boy. "So, where are we?" I asked.
"Long story, you probably wouldn't believe me if I told you." he said staring at the ground.
"Are you meeting your parents here?" I questioned he did not answer, I really did not know why I was really talking to this little boy, but I did not feel right just to leave him."So, where we are? I asked again.
"This is they call the crossroads." he answered. Now I was completely lost because the only time people use the word crossroads is with death. I could not possibly be dead, or could I?
"Are you okay?" I reach to touch his hand, I never felt hand so warm.
He took his hood off and finally looked at me when I saw his eyes I saw Noah. The tears began to fall rapid. Isaiah began to wipe them immediately.
"I...am also sssorrryyy" I studdered in-between the tears.
"It's okay Mommy, I forgive you." he said wiping my tears.
I could not utter another word its like my mouth was super glued shut.
"There somethings you should know about me. I play ball just like daddy, but my jump shot is way better. he giggle cause me to laugh too. "I spend most of the time in the library reading all types of books, and I speak 8 different languages" he continued.
I just sat there mesmerized hanging on every word he spoke.
"I been watching you and daddy."
"What?" I questioned confused.
"Yeah, he's been cutting school, his grades are slipping, and he's staying out late. You have to look out for him mommy. he informed me.
