TIA
"Hey Pops" Sean greeted, as we entered the room hand in hand, their was a woman in the room already who I assume was his mother.
"Hey Ranger" Sean's father replied lifting his hand Sean let go of my hand and embraced his father. Sean told me that his dad you to call him ranger because they used to watch the power rangers when Sean was a kid. Sean dropped to one knee and let out a soft weep, laid his head on his father's chest as his father rubbed his hair and his mother joined the embrace.
My burner phone began to vibrate in my back pocket, I quietly left the room. It was an unknown caller I answered
"Hello"
"You need to come in"
"But I..."
"Now! Meet me by the water."
"Okay, I'll be there in about 45 mintues." Then the phone hung up
As I turned around to head out I bumped into Harper.
"Hey I have to head out real quick, I won't be long can you let Sean know for me? I asked.
"Can it wait? Sean really needs you." She replied
"Yeah I know, I just gotta handle something." I expressed not liking her tone but I was not about explaining myself to no little girl.
"Tia!" It felt like my body broke into a million pieces hearing Donnie voice. "What you doing here?" Donnie asked.
"Actually..."
"You two know it know each?" Harper interjected.
"Yeah we manage my Uncle club together." Donnie answered.
"I'm sorry I really have to go." I said and made my way out the door.
I was sitting on bench when an all black tinted SUBURBAN pulled up, I proceeded to get into the back seat.
"I told your father at your christening that I would always look after you. But you trying to do some female Rambo shit is not gonna cut it detective."
