(Takes place during BOTW just two years after Calamity Ganon was defeated by Link. This was a dare done by one of my other cousins, not user70513038 she's currently working on revamping her books. Takes place about four months before TOTK)

Marinette rolled her eyes for what felt like the millionth time that hour alone. In said she felt a migraine coming on and that was all because of one single person in all of Hyrule who for some reason couldn't bear to stand not five feet away from her to tell all the petty lies she had tucked away in a little safe that came from not even the three goddesses and  Hylia herself knew where.

So to say Marinette was annoyed was the biggest understatement of the last ten thousand years. Everyone in their little village believes this little liar in favor of a girl could they have known since she took her breath of fresh air. This girl's latest lie was that she was being courted by the hero of Hyrule himself the Hero of Wild Link.

To Marinette, this sounded ridiculous. Everyone in all of Hyrule knew that up until  3 years ago the hero was trapped in the shrine of resurrection for the last hundred years. And it was only 2 years ago that the said hero had defeated calamity Gannon plus during his journey, he had never once stepped foot into their small village. But at this point with everyone in the village, Marinette was more than done with all of them. Sure she was the daughter of the local seamstress and Baker but as such, she was able to discern truth from fiction quite easily especially since her grandparents on both sides had served as members of the cooking staff and team of seamstresses back when the Hylian royal family still Ruled the Land Before the calamity descended. Plus it helped that she was friends with Impa's granddaughter Paya who came to the village at least once if not twice a week to drop off ruined training clothes, fighting clothes, and on occasion Link's very own garb for repairs or orders.

She was revered to be just as good if not better than all the seamstresses and tailors on the land. But she thought that they were just being silly and dismissed it as mere rumor and speculation.

So when Paya showed up with not just the Princess but the hero in tow Marinette had the feeling something was up. Paya might act nervous around certain people who intimidated her ie Link. But hurt someone she cared about... sleep with both eyes open and armed to the teeth. So the fact that Paya hadn't done anything quite yet to Lila, Marinette knew that she was scheming something big. But this was ridiculous. "Mari!" Paya shouted once she spotted the bluenette

Marinette gave her a small smile in return as she dismounted from her horse Buttercup. The princess was riding with Link on his horse Epona if Marinette remembered her name properly. "Link this is the girl who fixed your outfits and gear for you for over a year and a half," Paya said in a really loud voice as she turned to the hero.

Marinette let out a low cough putting a stop to Paya's banter. "Why don't we take this inside my place isn't that far from here," Marinette offered to let herself step to the side so that the princess can walk ahead.

"Oh right my bad," Paya grinned.

To anyone else, it would have been a silly grin, but Marinette caught the look in Paya's eyes as she looked at Lila and her posse it was pure malice that would have sent even Gannon running. Lila turned so pale she almost resembled glass.

Marinette's place wasn't too far thankfully from where she'd been shopping. She opened the door to her shop/home allowing Paya, Link, and Zelda to enter her abode.

"Was that necessary?" Marinette asked pointedly at Paya

Paya looked smug. "So why were we brought here?" Zelda asked

"Oh right, Mari do you have what we talked about ready?" Paya asked as the princess's words snapped her out of her victory moment.

Marinette gave a soft smile of course it's been ready for months let me go fetch it from the back.
