sorry for the wait!
ADIRA ;Well well well,
And so we meet again...I flashed a smile to the unknown boy who sat in the passenger seat of who I'm guessing was his friends car. And if i remember clearly his name was... Jett? Something along the lines.
"Give me your number, then text me the address I'll meet you there" I told him. Reaching for my red phone and sliding it through the open window.
He took it from my hands and I watched as he dialled the first three numbers.
While he did the rest I glanced behind his seat letting my eyes roam across two guys before it settled down on a familiar face.
The guy with the long name.
He glanced up from his lap looking... almost petrified. I slightly smiled to him, I watched as his soft lips slowly turned upwards slightly. Into an uneasy smile.
Oh gosh, how I wanted to leave him bleeding..
A large intake of breath entered my lungs as my eyes finally fell from his face, instead turning to my phone which had been held to my face by his friend.
"There, I texted you the address, call me when you gets there shorty." He bit his lip winking at me.
My face scrunched up in disgust. "Shordy" the way he said it was cringe.
"...yea..see you.." I muttered awkwardly, turning from the white car and walking away from it.
I turned my head alrighty looking back at the white car which was still stuck in park. My tongue rolled against the inside of my mouth in agitation. My black heels clocking against the dark sidewalk.
I lifted my phone to my face, unlocking it and then dialling a local cab business.
"..hello?" "How can we help you" the dull voice spoke back to me. That wasn't there lines.. "um yea I need a cab to the liquor store on 150th street,." A singer beep went through my ear and I was met with nothing but wary silence. "Hello??" I called out. After no response I slowly brought my phone off of my ear and in front of my face.
That bitch hung up on me.
I didn't get much time to dwell because a yellow car pulled up to me, rolling down its window.
"You called a taxi aye?" The Italian man asked. I stiffly nodded my head, opening the back door and stepping in. " so wae to?" His accent popped out. "1703 162 st" I responded looking down at the unsaved numbers text message. "A partee huh?" He chuckled. I shrugged my shoulder. Turning my head to look outside the window,
"I guess so.."
