OAKLEY:;
I sat at home once again, watching from my phone screen as my friends went out without me.

I wish I was lying when i say, they made no effort whatsoever to contact me.

Not a single message, call, anything.

Over a stupid argument. Whatever. They can do what they want, all sad and miserable with their lives anyways.

That was the thing tho, I haven't been out of my house in a week, so now im sad and miserable.

I have no one to go out with.

My leg bounced as my pride and my boredom fought against one another. There was no telling on who was winning.

My boredom told me to apologize, but it wasn't my fault.

My pride told me to forget about them, but I was so lonely.

I was knocked out of my thoughts by a loud knock on my front door.

My eyebrows scrunched together as I sat up from my spot of the couch, making my way to the front door.

Unfortunately there was no peephole, making it hard to distinguish who was sitting at my front door, waiting for me to answer it.

"Who is it?" I questioned.
"Adira!" I heard a lady's voice call out.
No. Not her.

I hesitated answering it as I took slow steps to the door. I could just pretend I wasn't there... no! You idiot , she heard your voice! I could say I'm busy! Yes! I am busy!

I opened the door to see her standing there with a large smile on her face. She held a tin tray between her hands.

"Hey!" She said in excitement. I tried to smile back but my mind knew that it was wrong. "Hi" I muttered. She stared at me and then behind me, asking but not vocally asking if she could come in.

"I'm really busy right now." I tell her and watch as she slightly frowns.

Her eyes turnt dark, her face void of emotion. now I'm reminded on why I hate this creepy bitch.

"Oh"
"Yeah."

Before I started shutting the door, a fake smile appeared back onto her face. She outstretched her arms which held the tin pan, giving it to me. I took it questioning the intention.

"You helped me the other night, I really appreciate it. So I made some chocolate chip muffins. Again, thank you" she smiled, this one more real than the previous.

"You didn't have to" I tell her, but smiling down at her in appreciation. No one has done such a sweet thing like this for me.

She smiled again then quickly turning walking down the steps.

Before she made it off my property she turned her head to look at me.

"I hope to see you again Oakley!" I nodded shutting my front door.

Now I was back alone in my cold house, with no one but my ugly thoughts, and some chocolate chip muffins from the creepy girl who caused me to have no friends.
