Not ten minutes later they were sought out by a maid, lead to the dining room where the rulers minus their father were stood or sat talking to each other.
"Hello" King Akibrus greeted them, king of Angels and Demons, her subconscious told her as she looked toward him, voice softer than his as she returned the greeting while looking over the room. Mir waving excitedly at them as she gripped her leg tightly.
She received gentle smiles and waves back, the pair being directed to where they'd be sitting, to the left of them Queen Caleia and her wife Queen Zaria, the seat to Leena's right occupied by Mir, opposite them their father.
Who still hadn't arrived.
Almost twenty minutes in and he stumbled in smelling of alcohol, noses of those who had better senses of smell than the others scrunched and their expressions shifted slightly to ones of disgust.
Mir continued to babble to King Vyn who was sat beside her while Leena simply watched him closely, eyes dark under the overhead fire light of the candle decorated chandelier.
He spent the meal boasting to any who would listen, almost none of them did, Leena continued to keep an eye on them though to be respectful she conversed with the pair beside her who seemed to take great interest in what she was saying though she couldn't help but notice that they seemed to be under the illusion that she was younger than she actually was.
Or maybe it was purposeful, she wasn't quite sure but she did know that none of the rulers liked her father anymore than they liked having dirt on their thrones. She'd caught a glimpse of the scarily clean things during their walk outside.
"The meeting will be tomorrow, I assume you will be joining us?" The question came from Queen Dalia, queen of Demons and Angels, it was directed to Leena who turned her head to face her before answering.
"Yes ma'am" the woman frowned at the title though said nothing, instead nodding before continuing her conversation with her husband, King Akibrus, the man who had first greeted them before dinner.

After dinner Leena put Mir to bed before heading toward the library she had asked a passing maid for directions to, slipping into the silent room and looking around, eyes wide in amazement.
Their were two stories, the second reached by a spiralling staircase in the corner, their were shelves that covered the entire wall they were on, and others that reached the ceilings they were under.
Each shelf had a label on it, explaining what it featured and she found herself on the second story, stood against the wall subconsciously, reading the book in her hands on Vampires.
Their own books were over a thousand years old, no new ones having been brought in since the trade lines ended and the alliance was broken off.
"Oh. Hello. I wasn't expecting to find anyone in here this late" the voice came from behind her, from Queen Adalyn, Leena looking up in surprise from where she had moved to sit cross legged on the floor, piles of books around her stacked carefully.
Turning her wrist over and looking at her watch she blinked in surprise at the time before closing the book in her lap with a bookmark in place.
"I'm afraid I didn't realise how late it was. I can leave if you'd like some privacy" her voice was raspy from disuse, the accent that laced her words gently through the day thick this time as she used her palm to rub at her left eye, pushing hair from her face once she had moved it.
"No you're alright, I was just going to find something to read to occupy the time until morning" smiling the brunette turned away from the younger woman who nodded before looking down at her lap and yawning, shaking her head before continuing with her book.
"You should head to bed soon" Queen Adalyn's voice once again startled her, head whacking against the silvery stone wall behind her as she jerked upright again.
"I can't" Leena's voice was softer than usual as she spoke while trying not to yawn, the woman frowning as she walked closer and crouched down in front of her, reaching out to lift one of the books.
"You're researching our kingdoms?" She asked while setting it down again, the younger woman nodding and blushing gently as she tugged at a strand of hair near her temple.
"Yeah, we haven't had access to any new information since the trading routes closed, none of the old ones are accurate if the ones you have on my kingdom are anything to go off" looking down to the well taken care of book in her lap she brushed a strand of loose hair from her face, the woman in front of her looking away with a frown.
"It's almost four am you should go to bed, the meeting tomorrow is going to be held at nine, breakfast is at seven" the woman changed the subject though stored the information away for later.
Leena sighing softly as she closed the book again, stretching out and hearing her joints crack before she looked down at the pile around her.
"I uhh, I don't eat breakfast, I'm usually out by the time it's served so I just miss it" she spoke with a small blush on her cheeks and down her neck as the woman frowned, looking almost like a disappointed mother.
"You need to eat darling" looking away Leena shrugged as she shifted her position and stood up with one of the piles in her arms, walking toward the shelf she had gotten them from she started to place them exactly where they belonged.
Everything put back with careful precision as the woman watched, staying silent as she made three trips to put them all away before standing, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"You need to take care of yourself, for yourself, your sister, even your people if you need to go that far" pausing Leena nodded before pulling away gently, wishing the woman goodnight and heading downstairs, steps quick and light as she moved toward her bedroom.
Going to sleep quickly after bathing and changing.
